My wife and I were making a leaf peeping drive to view the golden aspens along Colorado Highway 14 through the Cache la Poudre River Canyon. After many stops to view the bright aspen leaves among the evergreens, we reached the small community of Rustic at about noon. We decided to have lunch in the restaurant at the Glen Echo...

This used to be one of our favorite lunch spots whenever we vacationed in the Red Feather Lakes area. However, when we took friends there on 9/18/2016 we waited over an hour after ordering French dip sandwiches that were the worst we've ever had. Instead of sliced roast beef, we were served some sort of processed beef patty topped with...

The Glen Echo Resort is a bar, it is a restaurant, it has cottages for rent, and it is an RV Park. In the past this "resort" has gotten some bad reviews. We purchased one of their full hookup RV parking spots and had a terrific time. Our spot was right next to the river and it was delightful. We...

The cabins we rented out were dirty and most of the furniture was broken. The staff was rude and everything at the store is overpriced. The owners charged us for an extra day that we never even asked for and reused to give us our money back. This place is a rip off and everyone should stay as far away...

Glen Echo is easily the worst purchase I have ever made. Upon arrival, our cabin was filthy and half the amenities in it were broken or at least partially functional. Some of which include; the pull out couch completely imploding after attempting to pull it out, as well as it still having dirty sheets on it, the shower curtain having...

So disappointed!!! The place is dirty, bathroom is disgusting and was never cleaned in our 4 days there. Fire pits had trash when we arrived. Great location right on the river but there's no water in the cabin and no sink available for washing dishes. Staff very nice but seemed not to care about dirty conditions. No one took responsibility...

The new management must be doing something right as the décor and food have improved. The wait staff are sassy and pleasant! The only drawback to staying here is that there is no WiFi service. Some may consider this a plus however.

I have been staying at this resort almost every year since I was a kid and now that I have gotten older and have a family of my own, I have introduced them to the resort and my wife and kids LOVE it!!! There is truly no place on earth better to have grown up vacationing than Poudre Canyon and...

We wanted a tent site for a month in February and was told there is no discount for extended stays $31 a day = $806 a month and the site are tiny crammed on top of each other and your sleeping on gravel so we paid for 2 weeks in advance and pretty much as soon as we showed up...

“If you dont mind using the campground showers and bathroom rustic cabin is the way to go its right on the river, If you would rather have some modern conviences like satellite tyv and your own bathroom in a cabin with bedrooms then the modern duplexs and cabins are for you. If you have a big party of people and want something with all the amenitys the penthouse is your best bet. I have stayed in all of them before very nice.”
