The room was comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided but with only 2 teabags.
The price of our room shocked us at $165 ,for two. This was almost double what we had paid for a spectacular room in Capella only 2 nights earlier.
We had decided to treat ourselves to a restaurant meal that evening and wre very disappointed with that. The vegetable option was frozen mixed vegie dice, corn peas, carrots and one very small piece each of cauliflower and broccoli. No potato. The crumbed chicken was a mass produced frozen variety and well cooked bit bland. My husbands crumbed steak and sauce looked more appetising though. Not worth the price of over $30 per meal. Workers travelling and staying on expense budgets might not quibble at the price.
Overall the evening was a disappointment. A homecooked meal from our own freezer in the car heated in the microwave would have been far superior.
Arrived there, breakfast was nice and coffee was great. Such amazing service.
"Dont bother stopping off in Georgetown! Nothing there and accommodation is extremely expensive."Read full review
