Every staff member from manager to housekeeping is awesome! Mitchell and Barbara are AMAZING! Such great people. They make you feel like family. Everyone is always smiling and willing to help. We love it so much, that every time we’re in town we stay here. My kids who are 9 love the snacks (especially the pizza) and the on-the-go breakfasts here. I also use their laundry services every time to visit. Super convenient. I love that this is such a safe place. I go running, walk to target or even to all the restaurants next door. Even through Covid times, this Residence Inn has been extra extra clean and sanitary. I love that everyone wears mask and social distancing is practiced. I highly recommend staying here, especially families. We’ve stayed here for business and pleasure and have loved it each time!!!! Love you Westlake Team!…
I stated 1 night here before packing up and leaving California! The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and they even had a decent take away breakfast that was good! The rooms were standard but a small kitchenette was nice. The pool was open as well, and it seemed the hotel was pretty full. I'd definitely recommend this hotel, but since i have left The People's Republic of California forever, i won't be back!!! Woohoo!
We booked at last minute and have to admit I always stay at Courtyard Marriotts. This hotel was clean and nice. The pool was nice had towels out there and the pool was also gated. They have a barbecue grill outdoors and a patio chairs and lounge chairs. There is also a pool table inside the hotel. The hotel is pet friendly for a fee. The hotel is conveniently located to a couple of nice restaurants and fast food places. Great location. The only thing I would say is they don’t have any USB ports to plug in your phone you would have to take your wall charger. I was really surprised not to see any usb charging ports. I had to borrow one from an employee. Thank you for lending me the charger. We did return it back by the way. 😜 Front staff were friendly, professional and had a smile behind their mask. Yes they are Covid friendly and all staff wore mask. …
This property is an excellent option for a medium to longer term stay in the Northern LA area - just not right now. The main problem surrounds housekeeping. Apparently, it is a mandate from Marriott that rooms be cleaned and serviced not more than once every 3 days. When you travel, you don't expect that you're going to have to do the same housekeeping that you do at home. Aside from that, the property is well run and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. While it is a ways out from the SF valley, the best thing of all is parking is FREE! A rare find in the LA area
I'm long overdue on this review. I stayed at the Residence Inn at Westlake Village in Feb and March during an extended work trip, while waiting out the covid crisis in Asia, but then the tables turned and the virus hit USA and I could not return to HK easily. I had an extended stay at the RI, and although the rooms were very standard, typical RI rooms, it was really the management and staff that made my stay pleasant. Katie and Matt and several other team members were always so helpful and kind. Katie even forwarded a package to me when I moved to a different area of Los Angeles. The breakfast buffet was good, and the kitchen and breakfast staff were very kind and cheerful. Martha was especially wonderful. The location is good for having a Target and several restaurants nearby within walking distance. I enjoyed the proximity for running, the surrounding hilly area is very beautiful. I hope the RI team are all doing well during these difficult times.…
