My husband and I stayed here just one night while visiting family locally. I can't really recall the number of times (in our less than 24 hours there) that my husband turned to me and said he loved the room. It was spacious, extremely comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The owners go above and beyond with the kind of hospitality...

Great reviews like yours are really what keeps us going. Whenever we get discouraged, we go to the tripadvisor website (or to our room journals) and read the kind words of people like you, and know our efforts at real hospitality have not gone unnoticed. Thank you! I hope your kindness comes back to you tenfold.

t's been a year since we stayed there, but I still remember how beautiful it was. The way it was decorated, the historic style, it were as if you just stepped back in time to a more relaxed lifestyle. Although we only stayed one night it was the most memorable night I've had at any hotel. My wife and my...

My husband and I stayed at the Weaverville Hotel in Oct 2012. The experience was beyond our expectations. The exterior of the hotel is not much to look at, it has a funky old neon sign (the oldest neon sign in town). It is located on the main street in town, just steps away from the restaurants, galleries and shops....

This place is a real find. It is right in the middle of town and close to restaurants and shops. The old hotel has been beautifully renovated with great attention to detail. The appointments in the rooms are first rate and the rooms are so cozy and comfortable. The owners seem genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable. There are...

When Brian and I bought the Weaverville Hotel in 2002, we didn't really realize how centrally located it is. Also, we have come to appreciate the history, and the fact that this whole end of town is on the national register of historic places. The whole process of renovation was major, but your comments make us realize once again that...

What can I say! It's the BEST place you can imagine!! You're treated like royalty upon your arrival. You are made to feel like you're the only guest. The rooms are charming, full of antiques, the MOST comfortable feather beds, and don't forget the truffle left after they turn down your bed. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels including many...

I stay @ the Weaverville Hotel at least a couple of times each week for my business as I live in a neighboring county. Staying in this hotel makes it so much easier to be away from home. The staff are superior and friendly, and helpful in any manner that they can be. The facility is charming and clean and...

This comes late, but no less sincere: (Of course I recognize this frequent guest at our hotel.) If we could rate guests, he would get a five star! Always kind, courteous, considerate, and generous, we couldn't ask for anything more from a guest. Thank you SO much for your glowing review!

This was a wonderful boutique hotel. I was hesitant to book this hotel thinking it may be similar to a B&B. I was in Weaverville for business and didn't have a lot of time for socializing. The looks of this hotel from the outside are very deceiving - you may not look twice. The inside is wonderful - it is...

I stayed here one night on Labor Day weekend. The place oozes charm and has clearly been a labor of love for the owners. Historical details are everywhere, with a certain whimsy. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel, originally built in 1861, was last rebuilt in 1880 after burning to the ground. We have painstakingly restored it to the original high ceilings and wood floors, attempting to recapture as much of the original charm as possible. Private bath with shower in all rooms, most also have claw-foot tubs with bubble bath. All rooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans; most also have gas log fireplaces, a welcome feature during our colder months. Prime retail therapy is to be had in our great little Emporium downstairs where everything from sterling silver jewelry to women's clothing to great gift items can be found. The emporium is open every day, 9am till 6pm except Sundays, 10am-6pm. That's every day of the year! ... more   less
