Smoke detector had no battery and was thrown on the floor in the corner, Ceiling light had no bulb, shade on floor in closet. No TV, no pictures on wall, no phone, no radio, no clock. Bed...

I've been on ghost tours of this place and nearby Locke (also haunted, as is a sandwich/ice cream shop en route from the hotel). This place has a lot of spirit energy and with the right ghost hunting equipment you can interact with the spirits and get voices or get them to play with your EMF detectors or REM pods....

Great little place. We did not stay here. We only came for the brunch. Clean, across from the water. We came by boat. We had the brunch buffet, and it was pretty good. Bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, typical breakfast. Nothing fancy, but good!

We paid for two rooms when we were there for a wedding. It was so bad after we checked in and reluctantly took a shower there, we drove home after the wedding. Gross! We were told we'd have 3 queens and a twin, and were given one queen and one king "pull out bed" ... Wouldn't qualify as a bed....

My niece had a wedding at the Grand Isle Mansion. Of course we needed a place to stay and the nearest (only) place to stay was the Ryde Hotel. My 12 year old daughter and I checked in and where IMMEDIATELY concerned. The hotel gave off a Shinning vibe from the start This was before we even got into our...

This lovely establishment has fallen on hard times. The Sunday brunch used to be a step back in time to a classic atmosphere of a bygone era with lovely prepared and presented food and superior service. Not any more! Cold food that should be hot...where is the health inspector when ya need one yikes yikes yikes...limp green salads, pasta salads...

Historical art deco hotel on the Delta waterway. Perfect location for our staff retreat. Daniel and his staff were friendly, helpful and took excellent care of us. Laid back atmosphere which I enjoyed. Food was delicious on both days - thanks Chef David. This hotel has a long and mysterious history which we enjoyed hearing about, including a speakeasy from...

Went to this establishment to have a relaxing few days. Got to the hotel at 3 p.m. The Sunday brunch was still sitting out with dirty dishes all over the dining room and outside on the patio. Our room was not ready so we were asked to wait. Could not sit at a table outside because they were dirty. Once...

First, I would like to say it wasn't a horrible experience, but changes have to be made before I would stay there again. It's a very unique place and full of history and with some work it could be amazing. The golf course hasn't been built yet, but you'd never know that by the info on line. It also says...

We bought the New Year's Eve package which included dinner, dancing, a queen room, & brunch. When we arrived the hotel was freezing and the staff was trying to get the heater going, we were hungry and asked if we could order a small appetizer as we had a couple hours till dinner, we were told 'no'. The chef didn't...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Perched like a jewel on the Sacramento River, the inviting, peach tone facade of The Ryde Hotel literally stops traffic. The Hotel entrance is through a dramatic front walk-way, covered by a long black and white striped awning. On either side are twin patios fitted out with umbrellas and iron furniture, for al fresco dining. The view sweeps up and down the river and it is apparent even from the road, that this charming Delta hideaway is truly something special. ... more   less
