We stayed here for 1 night to go to the Dog Lover's Show. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to be told that we were the Guest of the Day and we got upgraded to a one bedroom unit. Thank you The unit was great, small but comfortable overlooking the main stadium. The king bed was comfortable. I don't think there was enough lighting in the bathroom, the two lights seemed quite dim and just not enough light. While in the room it was a bit noisy outside at night despite there was no major concerts or events happening. I did ask for a room away from noise and traffic but I didnt expect but certainly appreciated the upgrade. Parking was $44 per night. It was nice to get a plate with small pieces of desserts, thank you. We used our $50 voucher towards breakfast. The buffet breakfast was quite good but didn't really like that there was only scrambled eggs and couldn't get hot chocolate. Not a major issue but thought I would mention it. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for the upgrade, it was a pleasant surprise.…
What a wonderful time we have had staying here. Sad to be moving on to something more permanent now. The food was great and the service was especially friendly. Perfect for families. Thank you for everyone.
recently stayed at the Novotel. Other than locking myself on the balcony while trying to get better phone reception, due to a malfunctioning door, it was business as usual. The duty manager came to the rescue and was most apologetic. Staff as aways were very professional, and always make frequent travelers and members feel welcome. I didnt eat there for dinner, as I thought the menu was too limited, understand its hard to cater for all.The good news is that i was welcome at the Pullman across the road and it was great as well. Also allowed to use there gym, which is important for myself. Parking is my only complaint, as a frequent traveler I’m always conscious of costs, and $40 to park overnight for a guste seems excessive. I would like to see my status reap some discounts on such things.…
To visit the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park after many years was such a huge pleasure. The staff and facility were excellent. Especially, Ruth on the reception desk and Louis in the restaurant went out of their way to make my stay as pleasurable as possible.
We stayed for 3 nights at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park as it was most conveniently located to the hospital that my son needed to attend at Strathfield. The check in process was quite smooth and whilst the parking was limited at times, it was adequate. We booked 2 rooms. The corner room was nice and large, and had a great outlook, however, when we arrived, there was a service person doing electrical testing in the kitchen. He had headphones on and was obviously listening to something that made him unable to hear that we had come in. After a minute or so, he finally realised that we were there. He left dust and residue on the kitchen bench so I had to clean up afterwards. The other room that we booked was a standard twin room and much smaller. Unfortunately there was used milk left in the fridge. The interior furnishings of the rooms are looking a little dated now and could do with some upgrading. We dined in the restaurant for one breakfast and one dinner. Unfortunately, the chef on breakfast obviously didn't understand what dairy and gluten free means as we ordered dairy free scrambled eggs with gluten free toast. A beautiful, large plate of toast, eggs and hash browns was brought out by the waitress. I questioned whether the hash browns were gluten free as they are not in the other Accor Hotels that we stay at regularly. Shortly after, then chef came out to collect the hash browns as she confirmed that they were not gluten free. I then had a feeling that something was not right with the eggs. Sure enough, when I questioned it again, she had put cream in the eggs! It could have completely ruined our trip and it left me very reluctant to dine there again. There was noise from night activities and events in the area but that all subsided at a reasonable hour so our sleep was not disturbed too much. Great location near Accor Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, Monster Skate Park, Train station. I was a little disappointed with the lack of variety of restaurants in the area. The parking was $44 per 24 hour period for Accor Plus members and it was convenient to be able to come and go under the one fee. We would stay again if we needed to be in the area but I would be very cautious again about dining in the restaurant due to our allergies.…
Wasn’t happy mirror hadn’t been cleaned before we got there and 2 days it hadn’t been done until I asked, room service was ordered and then told they had no staff. I had breakfast included in my room and ended up not eating much due to finding 3 month out of date food.
The staff were very helpful and they were approachable. Ready to help. The lady in charge of breakfast made the best coffee’s and couldn’t do enough for us. It made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
A picture are worth a 1000 words - I was totally disappointed with my stay here and shall not stay here again! Be warned - so many issues I do not have the time to explain them all. See pictures attached.
It goes without saying that the Pullman at Olympic park is the ideal location to stay for any visit to Olympic Park. Its central to most venues, the staff are great and rooms are as expected at a high level
Went for a conference - ideal location opposite Stadium Australia. Strange area (large spaces seem empty without large crowds, and very light traffic) but the hotel was very comfortable and extremely convenient. Check in and check out was fast and efficient, so was replacing a key card that I managed to lose - staff were great. Nice little breakfast cafe around the corner and some Thai and other options are walking distance, too. Overall, couldn’t fault it.
