The front dek staff couldn't have been nicer when I was checking in. They were able to provide good suggestions on where to eat. If you are attending a convention at the Visalia Convention Center at the Marriott, this place is RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. So, it's very convenient. However, the elevators were super slow. They were small and took...

Dear its_rosie, Thank you for taking a moment of your day to write a review on TripAdvisor. I am delighted to hear that you received such personal, accommodating service from our front desk staff when checking in. We are pleased you enjoyed our hot complimentary breakfast. BEWARE: The parking garage DOES NOT have security cameras- it has “security guards”. When the group checked out to go to their van and drive to the next gig, it had a broken window and a priceless guitar, bass, and snare drum along with other items were taken. They were irreplaceable.

Dear Notimeforit, I would like to sincerely apologize for your van being broken into. I can only imagine how horrific it must have been to realize your priceless guitar, bass, and snare drum were stolen. I hope you were able to talk with the police officers and hopefully they will be able to find and return your priceless items. We...

Stayed here with my eleven year old son and his friend. Very hot weather that week. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast is better than most of the continentals you get at other hotels. Only complaint was from my son and his buddy. No pool. Would stay here again if on business...

Well the elevators broke (common occurrence from what others told me) on Friday morning and were not fixed before we left on Sunday. They have no rooms on the ground floor so if you are in a wheelchair, good luck. The only way to get to the stairs was through the smoking section (can I say gross) and yes it...

Dear Letsnot, I am sorry to hear you had such an unfavorable impression of our hotel. We pride ourselves in offering the best accommodations and comfort to our guests. Unfortunately, there are things that are out of our control. Our elevator was down for repairs for a few days. We know how incredibly inconvenient this was for our guests, our...

Stayed for 11 days on business and certainly won't be back. Downtown location has bars and restaurants nearby but also always a number of beggars and homeless. The hotel is run down and for most of the time I stayed the one elevator was down. 5 days to fix an elevator? The low point was the string of false fire...

I stayed here for one night. they put me in a handicapped room, which would have been fine, except the shower head was placed way over to the side and too low. There was no way to take a normal shower without holding the shower head the entire time. Then on the shower head there was a broken piece of...

Pro- - Right in the middle of downtown Visalia- easy access to restaurant and bars- walking distance - Very pleasant receptionist - Hot complimentary breakfast- scramble eggs etc Cons - parking was difficult because it was also prom night and many people in town. I think they share their parking with other facilities - Also there was some music playing...

We stayed here on our way to Sequoia park and it is a nice town with the hotel right off the highway. Room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom across from the shower, the set up was little odd but you got use to it. Parking was great and the only weird thing...

Very solid hotel nicely located in the center of Visalia. The rooms had plenty of room and include a refrigerator and seating area separate from the bed(s) area. The bathroom is a bit dated and showing some wear, but the site is in good shape overall. The hotel is one block off a street with lots of nice restaurants and...
