Nice summer outdoor games in a beautiful place. Hiking trails, disc golf, giant outdoor chess, horse shoe and more... For mountain bikers, you can start right off the hotel. Staff very friendly. The Manzanita restaurant was really good both for kids and adults. Room service has great pancakes. Recommended!

We stayed here for a convention last week and had a wonderful time. This is a very secluded resort situated in the mountains. Lovely pool and hiking right out your door. Beautiful views, nice pool and good food. Had access to the club level which is a must-great staff, great food and drinks from 7am-10pm. Although we loved this resort,...

We just finished a three-night stay at this hotel and had a wonderfully pleasant time. We stayed during the week (not on the weekend) in a room on the club level. We also traveled with another couple and were able to get adjoining rooms. The hotel seemed fairly empty during this week and the staff that worked there confirmed that....

Stayed 3 nights in room on 5th floor. Very nice accommodation on higher floor with views of the pine covered slopes. The room was spacious with all the amenities you'd expect from the Ritz including double basins in the bathroom. Room overlooked the pool and the Backyard Bar. There are a few hiking trails that start close to the hotel...

If you enjoy luxury hotels with great amenities and terrific scenery, you won't be disappointed with a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe. Location is hard to beat summer or winter - situated mid-mountain at Northstar California ski resort. If you happen to take an evening drive up the mountain to the Ritz-Carlton property, in the distance it resembles some...

Stayed here during the first week of July. The good: Great location if you are looking for an upscale environment and a little seclusion. Our room was very clean and spacious. Fireplace, oversized bathroom, turndown service every night with chocolates. Upon arrival, there was a beautiful plate of macaroons waiting in our room next to a personalized welcome note. On...

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway from the Sacramento heat with awesome views and a serene setting. The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe did not disappoint. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly and professional staff, starting at the valet, continuing to the bell desk and ending at the front desk. The front desk manager was on...

Visited the Ritz Tahoe off season and it was an incredible stay. The property is nestled in the mountains and because we visited just prior season it was the perfect, reasonably priced, cozy, couple retreat. The staff was professional, kind and courtliest, and the fitness center was very well equipped. All in all a GREAT stay at a high class...

My husband and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago in Mid-July. As other reviewers have noted, this is not located on the lake. I would suggest renting a car, as it's about a ten minute drive down to Sand Harbor etc. We also made the trip to Emerald Bay and hiked the Rubicon Trail. Heads up: its quite...

We spent 5 nights at the Ritz Residences and loved it! Our apartment was comfortable and spacious enough to fit our family.
