My wife and I spent three relaxing days at this property. The location was great, right between Truckee and North Lake Tahoe. The setting is very relaxing and puts you right in the middle of nature. The staff was very friendly and provided the expected Ritz level of service. The downside was the resort fee of $30, given the lack... More

I had the pleasure of staying here for a company event we had a few weeks ago. One of the finest hotel experiences I've ever had! The decor exudes warmth and coziness creating a very relaxing atmosphere. In the midst of our schedule packed weekend, time spent meandering through the halls and local area were very relaxing. The rooms are... More

My Husband surprised me with a weekend at the Ritz in Tahoe- It was a marvelous weekend. I cannot say enough about the staff and property. 5:00 Marshmallow S'more time was my FAVORITE. I was a little disappointed about the club being closed but it was an amazing trip and we will be back!

One of the best ways to see the Lake Tahoe region is by foot, on one of the many great trails that surround the Lake. And the very best way to do that is to put yourself into the hands of the Ritz Carlton's hiking guide and outdoor activity coordinator, Rick Gray. A passionate life-long hiker, Rick's enthusiasm for the... More

This place is so lovely. The service is amazing, the rooms well appointed. They have games and activities for the entire family to keep you amused. Sitting by the firepit at night is magic. I would highly recommend this place.

We are just wrapping up another wonderful trip to the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe. Wonderful setting and hard working staff. Beautiful mountain setting with comfortable fireplace sitting areas, pools, spa, workout facility and gondola ride down to Northstar village. Even off season it's a special place.

Our daughter and now son-in-law were married there in December last year. The hotel, the staff, the catering, the rooms and concierge were all top notch! Her photos of the wedding were featured on The Knot and the hotel's wedding promotion (since it was one of the hotel's first winter weddings). We loved it all!

My husband and I stay at the Ritz, the location is amazing, the view stunning, the facilities are really nice, one problem we hate that the A/C too noise, the restaurant close to early, for us, that we arrive at 1 in the morning from a long trip of 10 hours driving and you can't have a room service at... My husband had a business meeting here and my teenage daughter and I tagged along. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Service was excellent. There are loads of summer activities available right on the grounds of the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the adult pool area, the roller rink and the evening fire pits. We saw a bear on... More

It's hard to knock off a point for this place. The employees were friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the scenery was breathtaking. However, it really felt isolated with the long drives to do any activities or dining.
