We chose this hotel because it is not to far from the airport, about 15-20 mins and no need to go through Perth to get to it. It is a little out of town but bus stops nearby get you into Central Perth in 10-15 minutes for only a few Aus Dollars. The rooms are excellent, ours had two double beds, a sofa, small table & chair and TV in the main room. There is a very nice shower, wc, bathroom area combined with wardrobe space. (this maybe slightly restrictive for some but we managed wife, daughter and I). The hotel has a nice breakfast and dining area and the food is good and reasonably priced. The bar/lounge area is large and the bar food and drinks are good value, (especially if you join Marriot Reward scheme you get discount on food and drink). Free parking is limited, there is underground parking but if no free spaces this costs per night. There is a small but well equipped gym and an outside pool (didnt use didnt seem to be in sun much)

While Australian international border is closed, best option is to rediscover our own backyard. Our first night in Perth was at Aloft Hotel. It turned out that was the best hotel stay for our 11 days trip to WA. The Hotel’s Loyalty Manager, Lisa Darwin, greeted us warmly and made us felt really welcome. While our luxury corner room was under final preparation, we went to the in-house restaurant for a late lunch which served café style menu. The food was excellent in presentation and taste. During lunch, Lisa Darwin came over and presented us with the room keys to an upgrade suite. What a pleasant surprise and a great start of our holiday!
The corner suite was double the size of a corner king room and comprised an oversize lounge room and a king size bed room with a huge ensuite bathroom. The lounge has a large flat screen TV, desk, dining table and L shape sofa. The design was chic modern with bright and relaxing colour scheme. The suite has full height windows overlooking Swan River in 2700 uninterrupted view. We have to tear ourselves away from the fantastic view and moved over to the bedroom to unpack.
The King bed felt luxurious and yet firm with super clean and soft beddings. There was 100% privacy even with the full height curtains drawn open as the room is located on the higher level. A second wall mounted large flat screen TV was also provided. In the bathroom, there was a toilet and shower separated by glass partitions, with a full size bath, double vanity and makeup mirrors. Full water pressure in the shower which we enjoyed. The king bed and bedding was so comfortable that we were reluctant to get out of bed next morning.
The whole suite was spotlessly clean. Guest facilities included guest parking in front of hotel court yard, complimentary high speed WiFi, room service to 9:30pm restaurant hours.
This is a 4 star hotel with 5 star indulgence which really set off a luxury experience and was highlight of our trip. The only regret was that we had a tight itinerary and only able to stay for one night. We didn’t want to leave and we definitely will come back to Perth, just for this hotel. We whole heartily thank Lisa Darwin and her team’s friendly and attentive service.

We were very pleasantly surprised by Aloft Hotel Perth. We had an eighteenth floor twin bedded room which was spacious and had a great view of the Swan River. The room included a lounge along the window, a huge TV, and a large bathroom/dressing area that was both luxurious and functional. The room also included a fridge that was empty so you could add your own things or purchase them downstairs. We had breakfast included which was a more than adequate buffet breakfast, with everything cooked nicely and also kept healthily and safely (e.g., covered, in a fridge). Being a Marriott Bonvoy member I requested some additional items in the room (extra pillows, toothbrushes) and they were all there. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a sushi restaurant next door which was where we had dinner (as we prefer Asian foods). It was packed solid with a half hour wait so be aware of that, get there early and put your name on this waiting list. The food there was OK, nothing stellar but quite edible.

We were after a staycation in our home city and thought we would try the Aloft. I had previously stayed on a work trip but only got the sleep there so going for some relaxation puts a different view on things.
Situated on the banks of the Swan river with walking paths just outside the hotel and very close to the airport this place is ideally situated.
From a fast and exceptionally friendly check we went to our room. The view over the city was mesmerising. The room spotlessly clean and well equipped with a full length longer the length of the picture windows.
The bathroom was huge with a choice of rain head shower and hand held one with ample space and beautiful quality soaps and washes. Plenty of towels although I am sure getting more would not be a problem.
The bed was huge and comfortable and the air con/heating system as silent as anything with blackout curtains that worked a treat. There was full sunrise occurring outside and you wouldn’t have know it.
All in all highly recommended for a night to a holiday in Perth.

We stayed in a corner breezy room which was bright & clean with a great view! Check in staff were great, no problems there. We would have liked the bar to be open earlier than 4 o’clock or to be able to order room service drinks earlier but we enjoyed the bar when it did open.
Our meal in the restaurant was great and the service was impeccable.
One thing I could suggest to improve was to have a mini bar or at least some bottled water in the room fridge. It wasn’t until the second day at 4pm that I was offered water from a cleaner. I found the bed too hard & my back ached both nights but my husband liked the firmness 🙄
The room service meal in the second night was great but we ordered a bottle of wine & had to drink it out of water glasses as there were no wine glasses. Breakfast in the restaurant was awesome, no complaints at all!
We will definitely come back but just a couple of things need tweaking to make it perfect.

My first time staying at this hotel, I selected it for the location and ease of getting to and from the airport. The room was beautiful and spacious (we had a King Bed Aloft room), and the bathroom was spacious with a lovely oversized shower and high-quality toiletries. There is a safe in the room, an iron and ironing board, and complimentary wifi, and our room did have a separate kitchenette area with a microwave and fridge. There is complimentary tea, coffee, and milk provided in the room. The breakfast Buffet had good choices with every dietary requirement catered for; there is also an a la carte menu available. The barista coffee was excellent, and we found all the staff working in the restaurant so friendly and welcoming. We had room service for dinner, and the meals were excellent and delivered quickly. We used the onsite parking and found it well marked and easy to access the hotel from the carpark. The reception staff over a couple of days were all excellent and a credit to the hotel - we loved it so much we'll be back!

Only commenting on the Function side of the venue, did not stay there.
Easy to find, arrived an hour early as had been warned parking was at a premium but already too late - the paid parking was already full, the very limited street parking was also full.
Numerous cars were driving around attempting to find parking. We were lucky in the end finding a space as someone vacated it this was several streets away.
What is the use of having such a magnificent Ballroom and Terrance with really terrific views of Perth, over several different directions, which one would assume means a hundred or so guests when there is absolutely NO parking for them.
Having driven over an hour from outside Perth, options for getting there were limited. Plus noted that a full size bus provided transport for many in attendance. I strongly believe that unless some parking is sorted this really great function venue will flounder.

Stayed for 3 nights in a double double aloft room. First contact with checkin staff member was delightful. A young, well spoken man was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with for a smooth start to our stay. In our room it was spacious, clean and beds are comfy. Well planned bathroom also had a nice nook for hanging space and cupboard for bags. Buffet breakfast was delicious, lots of variety and tasty too. The service of the staff however was attentive but non existent. The first day our bins weren’t emptied and towels weren’t re stocked, advised the staff at reception twice to have this done. Our last day we asked for our room to be cleaned whilst we were out for dinner, returned 3 hours later to an unkept room.
Too many followup calls to reception and not enough attention to detail but also non-apologetic.
It was also my husband’s birthday which I had informed them upon booking and for our first time in Perth it would’ve been a nice touch to be acknowledged of this or a simple complimentary message but no personable touches from the Aloft.

Response from MeghanF01, Manager at Aloft Perth
Responded 18 Feb 2020
Dear Chansau22, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your recent stay. It is disappointing to learn that, although you received a warm welcome and enjoyed the room facilities and food offering, there were inconsistencies in your room servicing, which we certainly be followed up on. We appreciate you choosing the Aloft to celebrate your husbands birthday and, in true Aloft fashion would of enjoyed celebrating this with you both, however we unfortunately did not receive notice on your booking of this special occasion. Chansau22, once again thank you for your feedback as this will assist us in the improvement of our product and service offering. Kind Regards, Andrew Wright General Manager

I booked a room that was slightly larger than the other rooms (I can't remember what that room was called). The room itself was big, king bed, single bed for my eldest guy and loads of room for a travel cot for the little guy. The was a separate area to stow bags, a massive TV and a spacious bathroom. The room and bathroom was clean and in good order, at this point, there weren't many signs of wear and tear.
Check in was easy - a super friendly and helpful lady assisted us on the reception. Parking is just down the road, with access to the hotel from the carpark. It cost $10 for multiple entries, pretty good value I think for a hotel that doesn't have a carpark.
We had dinner at the restaurant, which was a lot fancier than I thought it would be! The food was really lovely, very tasty and well presented. The kids meals were great too, no frozen friend rubbish. Breakfast was included for us (although there was some confusion about how many people we had paid for) and again was a pleasant affair. A good enough choice to get you fed and send you on your way with a full tummy.
My family and I only stayed there briefly after arriving on a late-ish flight and before driving down to M. River but it would be somewhere we would come back to again. Overall I would totally recommend Aloft.

Stayed here on two separate occasions for one night in late May and early June. On the first occasion our room was on the 12th floor and on the second on the sixth floor. Both of these very large rooms had exactly the same layout and were similarly furnished.
Both our rooms were furnished with a king sized bed (very comfortable) that had a small bedside table and a reading light on either side, a large three seater lounge with ottoman, a round table with two chairs, a large wall mounted TV and an end of bed ottoman. There was also a bar fridge and tea/coffee making area with a kettle.
The bathroom was enormous with separate screened cubicle areas for the shower and toilet. The shower had both hand-held and rainwater heads and the pressure was good. There was a large vanity with plenty of room for toiletries and a large oval mirror completely surrounded by a light. On the opposite wall to the vanity was a wardrobe with hanging space, a fixed luggage rack and a safe.
Our rooms were very quiet even though, on the second occasion, our room faced the busy highway and there was a building under construction next door.
There were four banks of lifts that also went down into the basement of the next door Wilson's car park. Overnight parking at Wilson's was $15 and you validated your ticket at the hotel's reception prior to leaving.
There was a reasonable buffet breakfast for $35 a head, plus a separate A La Carte menu though disappointingly no plain continental buffet with just cereal, toast, juice, tea/coffee for those who didn't want the full hot/cold buffet.
Staff at reception for check-in/check-out were friendly and helpful.
We thought that the location was very good, particularly if you didn't want to go into the city. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the airport and close to the freeway heading south. It was also close to the river where there is a lovely shared walking/bike path. There is also a small shopping centre across the road.
