A cosy and peaceful family-run hotel with awesome green courtyard, cleanest rooms, comfortable beds and modern toilets. We also liked the hotel location – on a quiet street and within short walking distance from the town centre. The hotel owners, an intelligent and friendly couple, were attentive to the needs of guests. Our breakfast was basic but sufficient. However, it could be more diverse, even if adding omelette, sausage and toasts means some 10% increase in the room rate. Anyway, I assess Tourist as one of the best small hotels in Georgia offering everything you need at a great value. Highly recommended!

We got to this nice place after suffering through the another hotel in the same city. Hotel Tourist is really a nice guesthouse, in a small and quiet side street, with the rooms located around a nice courtyard/garden with fruit trees, grapes and bamboo. Really an oasis of piece and quiet! The rooms are spotlessly clean, with well working heating, and spotless bathroom facilities. HUGE PLUS - the rooms and indoor common areas are SMOKE FREE, which makes for a very pleasant environment. Every room has a comfortable seating area outside, which can be used for open air smoking. Breakfast is ok, though I am not a fan of instant coffee. Overall highly recommended!

The owners care a lot about the guests: They book taxis, let use the washing machine for free, prepare delicious breakfast and even provide free transportation to a restaurant or to the Rabati Castle. We felt at home Quiet and cool rooms facing a courtyard. Kitchen and dining room for the guests. Akhaltsikhe is the best location for visiting Vardzia, an awesome and fascinating place. And also Adjara via the Goderdzi pass, Borjomi and the Rabati castle. And with public transportation to Turkey and Armenia

We stayed for one night. New hostel. Breakfast simple but satisfactory: tea / instant coffee, cheese, yoghurt, butter, delicious bread, boiled eggs, cookies. Close to the centre. Rooms simple and clean, TV, WiFi, AC. Beds comfortable. All in all nice people offering a good accomodation option. I do recommend.

This is a cool hotel, we visited Akhaltsikhe as a big family, They arranged us perfectly. room was nice, had a balcony, LED TV, a private bathroom. a There was free WI-FI. Rooms are cheap and breakfast is kinda okay.
