Thank you for your feedback. On behalf of the entire team I would like to apologize for the experience that you had upon check out. It is always our goal to be our guest’s home away from home when visiting Temecula and the surrounding areas and we are sorry we let you down. I am truly disheartened that you left feeling the way that you did about our property. I can assure you that discrimination of our guests of any kind is not tolerated and that is not what had occurred here. However the way the information and process was presented regarding our credit card authorization document was not handled properly and for that I apologize. You should have been fully notified of the details of the document at check in. Due to the guidelines for 2018 & 2019 required by our credit card processing company we are required to provide them with a credit card authorization form when processing a personal credit card from someone that is not present during the stay. A reservation can be reserved under a different card but the payment for the stay can not be posted without this document. This document requires that the information be filled out in its entirety stating whether the person who is not present is covering the full cost of the stay and the deposit, a portion of the stay, the full stay with no coverage of the deposit or just covering the deposit for their guest. A copy of the credit card and ID that will be used for payment is also required as stated on the top portion of the form. This form is required so that the Vendor (Quality Inn Temecula) has proof that the person who is not present has agreed to all of the terms and conditions of payment and that the Front desk is not processing the card fraudulently. Without this document the payment is considered fraudulent by the credit card company. We do have new staff members who are learning about all of the required procedures and guidelines but this should not negatively affect our guests. The issue here was that this document should have been presented at check in and the front desk should have notified you that we would need this document prior to check out in order to process the credit card payment under your mother in laws card. The fact that the document was only presented at check out is unacceptable. I know our check out team member was truly trying to follow these guidelines as required by the credit card company and meant no disrespect. But as someone who travels often as well, I too would have been very frustrated and let down by being told about this document only at check out after a 4 day stay. I understand your frustration and hope you will accept our apology. We are using your feedback as a training opportunity for our staff to make sure that this does not occur again in the future. We take customer care very seriously and hope that you may give us another opportunity in the future to earn back your business.

I stayed here for one night to attend a vineyard wedding. The wedding was at 3:30 and check in was at 3:00. I called ahead to see if I could get an earlier check in time and they were very accommodating. They even called me to let me know my room was ready. I had one small glitch

This was a terrific property. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The king sized bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. The bathroom was immaculate. The room even smelled clean--and so did the employees! If I owned a hotel, I would want my guests to feel as we did.

How far of a drive is it to the wine trail?
It is about a 15 to 20 minute drive depending on traffic to Wine Country. We are also a 5-7 minute drive from Old Town Temecula which provides several wine tasting rooms.
