The only good thing you can say about it is that it's affordable for the area. Otherwise set your expectations very low. It's like a rundown motel in rural Kansas that will leave the lights on for you, only it's in Tahoe. The staff is ok. Room ok. Bed ok. Shower ok. Cleanliness ok. Thin walls. Traffic noise all night. Location excellent. That's about all you need to know about this place. You're paying 5X what this room would cost in any normal city not in Tahoe or california.

Mourelatos was such an amazing place to stay on a busy weekend that had epic snow conditions. We had booked this place pretty last minute and it was the more affordable place we could find that was nearby Northstar. The room I had originally booked was a lake view room and to our surprise - we did only got a partial lake view room. Michelle was kind enough to explain to us that since we booked with a third party - they tend to advertise incorrectly. However, she still accommodated us and moved us into a lake view room. The room was gorgeous and hugeee. The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen had everything you’d need! Everything was done via text and they were so responsive and so kinddd! I would totally return to mourelatos!

This property was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. We got a lakeview room and felt very safe with precautions MLR took to keep us safe. You can’t beat the view on the water. Its absolutely amazing. Although a lot of things are closed this is an amazing getaway to have some peace and relaxation.

The views are great but the seating in your room isn’t ideal to enjoy them. We ate most of our meals from the couch to be able to take advantage of the view. The service was so attentive and friendly! Keep in mind the kitchen is bare bones, but it’s clean and has most of what you need to cook a meal. Definitely has a friendly and warm atmosphere that is very welcoming. The picture is the view from our room. The other picture is the beach with the Adirondack chairs and fire table which we took advantage of to be lazy and enjoy the lake view. Overall we really enjoyed it!
