Probably one of our favorite dining experience on this trip to Lake Tahoe. on Sunday 8/20, 3 couples for lunch and were able to secure a table outside with view of the marina. Our server, Kent, was the best and I would like to say...More
I always remember why anyone with a house in Tahoe never comes here - it's noisy, hot, tourist crazy and just mayhem. It's not one of those decks that is nice to sit on. Food is predictable, rushed and overpriced. We stopped because traffic was...More
Lovely location with outstanding view, Good food and service. Nice spot for lunch or dinner. Really liked that their is no split plate charge. Adequate menu with good selection and daily specials. You should not be disappointed.

The beaches consist of a bit of sand into the rocks & the water is mostly VERY cold, as it is an alpine lake. Resort located right on the water with a dock for the boats use in summertime. Depending upon the time of year, you could easily need a full wet suit (winter!) or at least a vest/jacket other times of the year. This is not warm water....There are some nice beaches in the town of Tahoe City (Commons Beach) as well as beaches located at state parks, too.
