When we parked in the back we noticed the immaculate buildings that lead the house. I think they have poured a bunch of money into this place this year because the outside of this old Victorian looks "buffed and polished." Everything was clean and detailed like a concours vintage automobile. I was constantly amazed at how clean, and perfect every...

Rich & Tami, We are so thrilled that you noticed all the hard work that has gone into the inn over the last couple years. New landscaping, siding, paint, fully rebuilt porcelane tile porches. In the rooms there are, new air conditioners, carpet, etc. Our guests had suggestions and requests and we have listened. Thank you so much for taking...

Just returned from a 17 day tour of the Pacific Northwest and The Foxes was our second stop on our vacation. It is a wonderful place to stay. We arrived on a Friday afternoon when the thermometer was hovering around 100 degrees and were immediately given a very light, cold and refreshing fruit drink which hit the spot. The innkeeper...

My husband and I enjoyed two days in the Amador county area and stayed at The Foxes Inn. We were on the first floor in the Honeymoon Suite. (This is the year of our 50th wedding anniversary. So, we are not new honeymooners - but still honeymooners anyway.) Wendy and Roni/Riney(?) were helpful, pleasant, friendly and just as wonderful as...

A wonderful place to stay with lovely rooms and fabulous breakfasts. But the most important part is the delightful hospitality of Wendy and Roni who went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We were greeted with raspberry spritzers, warm cookies in the afternoon and wine and cheese later. For a relaxing get-away, you couldn't do...

Twenty five years ago we were married at the Foxes Inn. The wedding gazebo had to be removed last year, but to our delight, all else about the Foxes is still worthy of celebration! Some of the dark common area furniture was removed in favor of a lighter and brighter feeling with a piano for guests' use. The Anniversary Room...

He had the chile souffle and I had strawberry filled crepes. Yummy. Beautiful accommodations and friendly staff. The restaurant nearby Bella II was awesome. Such a romantic setting, with a claw tub bath and a shower. We lived it.

Thank you so much for your kind words. The chile relleno is a favorite with a lot of our guests, very yummy, I'm so glad you liked it. The fresh strawberry crepes are so refreshing and perfect in the summertime. We all enjoyed having you here and we're looking forward to seeing you again. Best Wishes!

The Foxes Inn is located on the main street in Sutter Creek but our room, upstairs in the back, was very quiet. On checking in, we were delighted to be given an icy fruit cooler, along with a menu for us to choose our breakfast selections for the next 2 mornings. We could pick the time, and eat either in...

We have stayed at the Foxes Inn twice. In both cases, it was a wonderful experience. Everything was done to perfection while still making us feel as if we were relaxing in our own home. Wendy and the rest of the staff make all of the guests feel like they are special, but also part of the family.
