Better late than never... We stayed in this beautiful B&B end of July 2016 and it was outstanding. The hosts are so lovely that we immediately felt at home. And they provide an awesome breakfast. It was a wonderful time. There are tons of backcountry roads to explore and it is much quieter than the famous Yosemite Valley. Definitely worth... More

We stayed at the spacious two-story cabin for two nights in early Oct. 2015 (family of four) and loved it. The cabin was cozy, clean, and charming, decorated with obvious love and warmth. It exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't capture how spacious the cabin is, with airy vaulted ceilings and room to roam. The staircase is gorgeous. At 1,000... More

Gorgeous place, excellent couple keeping this unique BB in great order, treating their guests as royals.... We had a great time there, though we might have been chosen better season - at the end of September we got +4, rain, hail, a little bit of ice on the mountain road 100 trees trail.... Amazing scenic drive around, elevation - 8500'... More

3 of us arrived unannounced after a very long day riding our motorcycles. Alvie & John we're enjoying a drink with friends on the porch. They quickly jumped into action, showing us to the room, showing us to the hot tub and Alvie rustled up the best dinner we had on our 10 day bike trip. We all agreed that... More

This is a must Bed and Breakfast for anyone traveling in the Sequoia National Forest. We stayed for one night in early July 2014. The experience was much more than we expected. Alvie and John greeted us as if we were long lost friends getting together for the first time in decades. They provided an exquisite experience in the middle... More

Alvie and John have a first class Bed and Breakfast! They thought of everything in our room. The breakfast is fabulous! Although we loved all of breakfast courses, the absolute favorite was bananas with custard and chocolate shavings. I cannot tell you how awesome this was! We were able to relax in the hot tub each day, and the scenery... More

We stayed at Mountain Top 2 nights in May - what a find! Although we arrived very late John made us very welcome. This is not a log cabin, this is a palace! The care and attention that John and Alvie put into receiving guests is both thoughtful and generous. We don't normally take pictures of food, but the home-made... More

We just returned from this B&B and it was delightful. We have stayed at quite a few and Alvie & John are wonderful hosts. Their 2 room lodge is warm (literally, since it snowed while we were there), beautifully decorated, and our room was extremely comfortable. Because of the snow, they loaned us their Jeep so we could go on... More

This is a lovely b&b. The rooms are comfortable, there's a hot tub, wine hour, and a huge breakfast. The owners are friendly and very helpful with directions and planning. Plus, the sequoia national forest is beautiful! I highly recommend it. I hope to be back.
