This is a charming yet elegant bed and breakfast with beautiful views of the San Gabriel Valley. This place is quiet, serene and peaceful and feels like a wonderful escape and yet you feel catered to as well. From the wonderful oatmeal chocokate chip cookies with cheese and crackers and drinks in the early evening when we arrived to the...

This is a truly extraordinary B&B. It’s especially comfortable. It’s beautiful (inside and out). It’s elegant. It's spacious. It’s well run. It’s delicious (at breakfast). The quality is of a high caliber from the linens to the air conditioning. The Arroyo Vista Inn and it's very nice and enlightened owner offer the comforts of home in a way that the...

I recently enjoyed a long-term stay at the AVI while on business in Los Angeles. Pat and her staff were exceptionally accommodating. Coming through the front door into the large and welcoming parlor at the end of a busy day really feels like "coming home". I found the commute into downtown Los Angeles an easy 20 minutes, and really appreciated...

Pat, our hostess, made us so comfortable that it felt like we were family. Except that we didn't have to do the dishes after breakfast. The living room invites relaxation and conversation with the other guests. The wine, cheese and cookies fuel the conversation. Chillin on the front porch is so comfortable and pleasant that one could forget that there...

I stay at the AV Inn a few times each year to escape the hustle and bustle of life. I recently returned from a 2 night stay and as usual, every aspect of my experience was first-rate. As other reviewers have commented, each of the rooms is lovely and the setting is super relaxing. It was fun mingling with the...

Unlike many luxury B&B's that advertise a jetted soaking tub for two these days, our tub at Arroyo Vista really was big enough for two to relax in comfort and deep enough to be immersed in warmth. The rooms were very clean and tidy and there was plenty of comfortable quiet space in the common room. We enjoyed sitting by...

Our 2-day visit was wonderful: exquisite accommodation, both the room and view of the mountains, gourmet breakfast, easy access to Pasadena and Los Angeles, and friendly and helpful innkeeper and staff. We look forward to our next stay.

This place is wonderful. We got a peek in most of the rooms, all of which are beautiful. We stayed in the Daybreak Terrace Room which is lovely with an amazing bathroom. Pat's cooked breakfast was wonderful, as were her homemade cookies. It's very relaxed however not chill with your feet on the furniture. And beautifully renovated. We will stay...

My honey and I spent the weekend at Arroyo Vista Inn in South Pasadena and had a great time. Our room was lovely, the inn is beautiful and Pat is an excellent hostess. The food was YUM (the available-at-all-times muffins really rocked -- check out the recipe on their blog) and Pat even put bottle of champagne and sparkling apple...

We loved every minute of our stay at AVI, beautiful home and great accomodations; don't even get me started with the breaksfast (Saturday morning) so fresh and delicious that yes I ate every little bit of it; excellent coffee and muffins too along with fresh fruit served right before the main dish. We are already talking about a return visit...
