Pulled in, late one evening for some shut-eye before heading on to Yosemite. No problem with vacancy: we turned out to be their only guests. It's a pretty typical, rundown, 1950s style motel that doesn't look like it's had a lot of upgrading since its inception. If you're looking for an authentic, backwoods, American road trip experience, right out of...

The staff was very nice and the motel was clean, but a bit old and run down. The bed was very hard and there was no clock. The TV worked well, but you had to turn the set on manually. The shower floor was very slippery, but the heat lamp was wonderful. We passed on the breakfast because there were...

it's not the place you wanna stay more than one night . Old , poorly equipped , noisy conditioner , unconfortable bed , scarce breakfast and everything pretty dirty . Because it's pretty near to the North Gate of Yosemite the rate of the rooms is high compared to the poor services offered .

Took a quick trip to Sonora with my husband on our motorcycles and ened up deciding last minute to stay the night. We found the gold lodge because it was the cheapest we could find. Being that it was just a spot to sleep.... Ohh man. this is a place you'd see on a scary movie from the 70's. Old,...

Probably the worst motel we have ever stayed at. Dirty old rooms. Shower so dirty would not use. Phone did not work, bedding dirty and room was so smelly. The mattress dirty and bed squeaked Curtains falling off rod and would not close. We stayed in the back part and smelled of dog poop..

Wasn't looking for a fancy place to stay, just a cheap room to catch some music. Bedding and linen scary. Slept in my clothes. Came home and realized I brought some friends home with me....meaning bed bugs. Have lived in my apartment for 12 years and never had a bite. Now it will cost me close to 1500$ to solve...

The room was not as descrved, the lock would not work therefore we had to move rooms. The bed on the next room was lower on the head side due to a missing leg on the back side of the bed. We had to fix it ourselves. Not to mention it was the worst night sleep ever for us. I...

We stayed here while visiting our friend's lake house, luckily for us, it was one of those times where the kids didn't come, otherwise it would have been worse. the gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant, they offered a modest continental breakfast which was nice, but the motel overall is run down and the locks in our door...
