This hotel has a great location, close to restaurants,a CVS, a Whole Foods, church, etc. My room had a very comfortable bed and was clean, but was extremely dark and it was very difficult to dress or find something. The bathroom was also very clean with good light and excellent towels. It was bright and I had to go there...

We booked with friends and we both booked king beds. We both got queens. The rate is the same as a room with kings. Our room near the top of the stairs was smaller. So small that we could not open the closet door. We were there early, so they certainly could have given us options. I would stay again,...

The El Dorado was a pleasant surprise! Quaint and charming - in a great location. Service was friendly and accommodating and the restaurant - amazing! If you are looking for a small boutique style hotel where you will feel so at home you never want to leave, this is it! The only complaint some might have is the rooms are...

This is a great little boutique hotel on the square in downtown Sonoma, close to great restaurants and wine bars and just a short drive to near by vinewards. Our room was very nice and comfortable with a little balcony overlooking a side street of the square. The bathroom was pretty tiny and there was no full mirror in the...

We have chosen this hotel our last 4 trips to Sonoma. All rooms are nice with cute little balconies however rooms 3 and 4 have the largest balconies with great views of the square. The service and restaurant are added bonuses. Sonoma is a great base for heading north to Healdsburg and beyond. The drive is pleasant and the Sonoma...

This hotel is in a great location, right on the town square. However, the hotel was a disappointment. The room was quite bare with a hard, uncomfortable bed; linens were rough and the towels were threadbare. After the first day of a five day stay, toiletries were never replaced. We had to ask at the desk for soap, shampoo and...

My husband and I stayed here last year. I made the reservation site unseen and was SO pleasantly surprised. We still talk about that room. We had planned out our trip and only could stay in Sonoma for one night - we were so bummed when we had to leave. We were given a room apart from the main building,...

What a wonderful place! Right by the plaza, which turned out to be a great benefit (evening pop-up farmers market and food stalls), wonderful laid-back small town ambiance. Terrific base to explore Sonoma wineries and come back at night to walk to excellent restaurants (including the one in the hotel) and not have to drive anywhere until tomorrow. And the...

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in June of 2012. I apologize for the delayed review, but better late than never? The hotel is well situated on the square in Sonoma. A prime location! This is perhaps it's best asset and well worth paying a bit more. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon for an extended weekend stay,...

We have been here a few times on trips to the wine country and we really enjoy the food location and ambiance of the restaurant. We made the mistake of going to dry creek kitchen in Sonoma one time and this place Is definitely much much better that that. Not cheap but good food and consistent good service. Hope to...
