Loved this recently remodeled lodge. Located outside of Death Valley. Offers a budget friendly boutique lodge. Super friendly staff. Offers comfy courtyard with fire pit. Loved the small town and everything (store, pool, cafe, museum) within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This is an older hotel, and the exterior shows it. So you might expect this to be a bit of a rustic Death Valley character. But once you open the door to your room, prepare to be surprised! The rooms are fully upgraded with bedspreads...More

Hi Russell. I just noticed your question. Typically our stargazing is phenomenal. We do not have any type of city light to obstruct the view. Most nights are incredibly clear. And it is usually beautiful outside. If you are a guest of either the Shoshone Inn or The Shoshone RV Park you can enjoy a swim in our Hot springs pool. Which is an amazing way to watch the stars.
