I was excited to visit this quaint little motel on my visit. I came with my children, and checked in the afternoon of my 1 quick night stay, then returned to visit my family that lives in Shasta in order to not have to do all of it I need the dark late at night. We looked around and saw...

I searched for something affordable with character.. For a night on the road I really didn't want to spend upwards of $65. for simple lodging. We wanted clean, safe, and fun in a pretty setting. We found cheap, decent, and friendly. Think old. Torn carpet. New bed. Good air conditioner. Clean sheets. We would come again. There is room to...

This motel is family owned and operated. They have water bottles for .50 cents in office. We traveled with two younger girls and they seemed to enjoy the lack of traffic in the lot where they played. The pool was warm and cozy and so inviting my friend hasn't swam in 6 years and she jumped in. Definitely a comfy...

First let me say that I am rating Shasta Dam Motel as a "5" in comparison to other motels of it's same type--old motor court type motels from the 1940 & 50's. As you exit off Interstate 5 to get to this motel, you come to an intersection with a recently built modern McDonald's and Rite Aid. But as you...

A gem in the woods. This was a great find on a busy weekend at Lake Shasta. Price is reasonable. Clean relaxed atmosphere. A well maintained swimming pool and lots of other niceties like barbecue and shaded sitting area. Plenty of parking and very flexible with parking boat and trailer. Will stay again for sure. Note not lake access need...

Refused to show me a room, wanted to charge me an extra $20 for my service dog, even after I showed her his paperwork! I very kindly advised her that it was against the law to charge for a service dog, she then said, "that she would not rent us a room" I will be turning them in to the...

You get what you pay for here. It is clean with easy on and off the interstate. Lots of dining nearby with a Rite Aid also. Small rooms, very small bathrooms but if all you are looking for is a clean bed and shower this is the place. You get some interstate noise but the air conditioner fan drowned it...

We are seniors. My wife reserved this filth trap through BOOKING.COM., who advertised it as a nice place with a 6.8/10 rating. We checked in, opened the room door and found it sick dark smelly and filthy. The word is creepy. I demanded my money back on the spot from the foreigner owner from the middle east. He yelled at...

"Oh no, is this the motel I choose ? Why did I do that?" were thoughts coming on my mind when we entered the parking lot. More odd feelings when reached the reception desk as it was dark... But later on things changed drastically... I had a two queen bed room and I feel Pros: - Large room - Large...
