Great staff, we enjoy seeing Randy year after year. Tips to keep in mind. Staff will drive you out of the harbor if you are nervous. Dog friendly. Great family vacation every year. Take plenty of sunscreen, and something to use as a sunshade for the summer afternoons (we hand towels with clips from ladder) bring a doormat to keep...

The bathroom had no screens, flying insect galore at night. No swim area. We swam off the boat dock, but had boats coming and going. No ladder to get back on the dock. The RV sites were so tight that our neighbors sewer hookup was bright next to our picnic table. All dirt sites, no grass, so take your shoes...

Our daughter from Tucson and her family were here visiting so I decided to rent a Party Cruiser for a day on Lake Shasta with them and our other two daughter's families. All thirteen of us arrived at the dock area at 9:30 AM where there were little carts to load our stuff and take it to the Party Cruiser....

Houseboating is one of my favorite vacations ever and we have consistently used Holiday Harbor at Shasta Lake for the past 10 years or so. We used to use Shasta Marina Resort when we first started renting houseboats 16 years ago. However, they got rid of their smallest and cheapest 6 person houseboats so we switched to Holiday Harbor and...

This is our 3rd time renting a houseboat, but our first with Holiday Harbor. We rented their biggest boat, the Grand Marquis (mostly because we wanted a slide). Holiday Harbor took good care of us, from the reservation, all the way to the return of our houseboat & saying good bye. The boat was a nice size & worked well...

We've rented a houseboat for one week every summer for over 25 years. Occasionally we've splurged on other marinas for the bells and whistles they offer. But, Holiday Harbor is the one we always come back to because they do the right thing for their customers. (Whether that means working out a launch agreement with another facility in low water...

This is a good camp site with okay bathroom. We went with several families and stayed for 3 nights. The site has easy access and a small store is located near-by. We rented a platoon boat and toured Lake Shasta. Wish we brought more BBQ items for the boat trip since we landed on the opposite side and should have...

I don't have experience with a lot of marinas. When we rent equipment, it is usually from a hotel on a beach somewhere. Renting a fishing boat from Holiday Harbor was a lot less pleasant than that, despite the friendly and competent staff. With the water level so low, you have to travel a long dusty way to get down...

A spontaneous road trip to Lake Shasta resulted in our first boat rental. We stopped by the toy box to see if we could rent jet skis but they were out during their busy season so they rented us a boat for $95 an hour with an additional $55 for gas. The lake is low as we have a drought...

We have a 60ft houseboat in a covered slip at Holliday Harbor. There are several things we like about this marina. Their prices are reasonable first off. Secondly they have a mobile pump out that is also very reasonably priced which is essential when you have houseboat. This marina is individually owned which gives a much more personal feeling than...

“This is a camp site that should be considered. Ease of access is the main point.”
