My husband and I stayed one Saturday night in early October. It was an average budget hotel, but needed some updating. The flat screen Westinghouse TV mounted high on the wall was out of focus. The furniture was old and battered but the room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean, but needed updating &...

From outside the Bay Breeze looks like a very run of the mill motel. Inside is a different matter, generously sized rooms, spotlessly clean with huge comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful, there is an outside eating area, with take out food available from several fast food outlets close by, or by enjoying the deli counter at the local supermarket....

The room costs so much for a motel styled hotel. The rooms stink and are small, no elevators for bigger luggage, and the breakfast is terrible. All they give you is some pastries and fruits and you have to eat on their sofa at the registration desk. I paid about $125 for such as cheap hotel? No thank you! If...

I know that this is an expensive area to stay, but this old hotel was not worth $100+ a night. Thank goodness we were only sleeping here. There was no ventilation, the room was hot, and the only way to cool it down was to pry open a window. That meant listening to parking lot noise during the night. No...

The bed was hard as a rock the pillows are lumpy and thin too much noise from the street they had plenty of vacancy but put me right out on the street I would expect a lot more from this hotel I will never stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone unless it's a last resort

I stayed at the Econo Lodge for the weekend to see my son play soccer. The lady at the desk was nice. The TV was horrible, some of the channels didn't work and the ones that did were channels no one watches. The wifi was even worse, could never load it, so used my own mifi from verizon to watch...

First impressions are important, and when I checked in the lady behind the counter barely looked up to acknowledge me. After returning from dinner that night and trying to sleep due to having to get up early the next morning, we found the room very warm and stuffy, with no way of cooling it. I didn't feel like leaving the...

Stayed here for 2 nights to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Good price and location and room was clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast is the worst excuse for a continental breakfast I've ever seen (bread for toast, bagels, and cereal without any protein in sight...not even yogurt or a hard-boiled egg) and absolutely no place to sit...

The family was not pleased this room. We were road tripping in California; four nights, four rooms. There was a heavy antiseptic smell, carpet had a few sticky spots, the mirror was not straight, and the microwave was precariously sitting atop the refrigerator. I would not recommend this motel.

Moderately comfortable bed, clean rooms and property, nice staff. I wouldn't want to stay for multiple nights, but as a cheap place to stay it was a good choice. If I was going again I'd ask to reserve a ground floor, there are no elevators and I had a heavy bag.
