A comfortable room (with windows that open) in a nice boutique hotel right by the ferry terminal. We are walkers, but it is still convenient to walk most everywhere in Sausalito (and if you add the ferry, San Francisco as well) The coffee and pastry at the downstairs cafe that are included are quite nice - big, fresh pastries and...

What a beautiful small boutique hotel. So convenient to the ferry terminal to take you across the bay.The room were so tasteful,I poked my head into a few rooms and was not disappointed in the charming way they were decorated. Top marks to this establishment ,you were wonderful hosts. (And they didn't request we make a comment on TripAdvisor... ) Loved...

Lovely small hotel, very clean, helpful staff, walk to ferry, restaurants. Good view of bay from our room. What a nice shower! They gave us a voucher for the parking lot, added 15.00 to the bill... Very fair. Also, we got a free coffee and pastry each morning from the cafe next door for our breakfast. I Sweet! The room...

We spent 2 nights here this week and loved it. Cheerful decor, spotlessly clean, great view of the park and ferry dock. High quality linens, towels and bath products and a FAB walk-in shower. Very European feel, good value for the area. The ferry rides to/from SF are in themselves a treat. And Billy, the manager, is practically an attraction...

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Sausalito and had a great experience. The hotel owner and staff were very friendly. I personally loved the Mediterranean-esk location. It's North of San Francisco, just across the Golden Gate Bridge. Muir Woods, Marin Headlands and Golden Gate Bridge are just a few minutes away by car. You can conveniently take the fairy...

I asked myself why I would ever go all the way to Italy when there is this hotel so close to that makes you believe you are in Venice. Exquisite is all I can say. The location is also exception. Within walking distance to the famous Spinnakers Restaurant.

We happened upon this hotel when driving through Sausalito. I think we were extremely lucky to get two rooms here as there are only about 16 rooms in this hotel The staff were outstandingly helpful and cheerful. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the middle of town and by the ocean. Perfectly located...

Our compact room was well decorated, centrally located, and adjacent to the ferry, restaurants & tourist shops. The Scottish host / manager is modelled on Basil Faulty lines, and is somewhat more benevolent than the 70’s TV character. Good to see a manager with character! Room rates are much less extravagant than those of other hotels in the area. Breakfast...

We stayed for one night in a queen bed, park view room. The hotel and the rooms are exactly as depicted on the website. Its location in Sausalito is right at the waterfront, very near to the ferry docks. Despite the proximity to the docks, there was little or no noise from the ferries--no long blasts of horns as boats...

Hotel Sausalito is everything good reviewers say with lovely amenities, tucked away location, and touch of Old World charm. Staff and service exceptional and attentive, but not intrusive. The rooms are set in lush subtle colors - we had the room pictured in our favorite shade of green. Windows open to a peaceful park and a view of the bay...
