The dorms were massive but I still felt like I had my own space. The location was great, I think there was even a hiking trail close by! The social area was large but it was not that social, I think that is down to...More

Thank you for your feedback! We do have miles of trails right out the front door! Our bathrooms are very rustic, hopefully someday we'll have the go ahead from our landlords to update them, but our historic status can make renovations almost impossible much to...More

Stayed in the annex in a private room. Loved the fact there was no TV. The room was cozy and loved keeping the windows open all night and day. It used to be an artillery housing for soldiers. The history of this place is awesome....More

I brought my class up for the second time and we, again, had a great experience. It is a very peaceful hostel and close to many opportunities to hike and see the beauty of the area. Most students and parents had never been to a...More

Yes it is haunted - but I did not see the cat or children that others claim to have seen. I had to promise my 5yo that I would not pet the ghost cat or follow the ghost children before I stayed there.

Hi Julie, We do have bottom bunks in the Annex, but for availability, it's best to call 415-331-2777 to check and confirm a bottom bunk reservation as I'm not sure what dates you are looking at.
