After spending a couple of nights in a soulless national chain hotel, our trip to Sausalito was refreshing. We had a charming room cosily appointed and extremely comfortable. Early evening cheese and wine for all guests was one of many nice touches.

The Inn has a very special atmosphere. We stayed in the Cypress room with a king size bed and queen size pull out couch sleeper. The bath was large and clean, with nice soaps and towels. The room was large for two adults and two...More
Stayed there for 1 night. Great rooms-reasonably sized. Excellent location. Breakfast was continental (so cold) but other than that the entire experience was wonderful. Again-the breakfast was a personal preference things-so not docking any stars for that. Clean rooms, well appointed.

It is what you make of the situation , how flexible you are and how much fun do you really want to have!
If these are your priorities then even a straw mat in the park or a rock on a hill will make for a memorable occasion .
I really enjoyed my stay at the Gables Inn. I was with my wife in a beautiful place. Enjoying great food and very comfortable , so I ask you , are you ready to have fun?!?!?!?
