Tried to make a reservation for 2 nights so I could go visit my dying grandmother and the guy that answered the phone was so rude and unhelpful. He ended up telling me that it is impossible to pay for a room over the phone from Idaho. I have never had a problem reserving room in other countries let alone...

Great value and very pleased with our stay here. The room was huge, bed comfy, great service, wifi strong. There's also a pool, a restaurant (had a delicious breakfast there) and a nearby safeways. Very good value for money

The Hillside is a charming, slightly vintage, family owned and run motel. The main "feature" is Jeffrey's Restaurant, THE place to have breakfast/brunch/lunch in Santa Rosa. We had a king room that included a stove, sink & fridge, but no microwave. But, the rates are reasonable, there is plenty of parking, the outdoor pool is clean, and the overall impression...

Referred to us 2 adults by Santa Rosa Hospital (St. Joseph) when medical emergency brought us to Santa Rosa. Room with two Q's exceptionally roomy with 2 dbl closets, separate dressing area and lots of table space. Clean, good size pool & lots of poolside chairs. Older motel and needs new mattresses but well kept and accommodating at front desk...

I stayed there for a few weeks and the pool was never clean, the Wi-Fi was terrible, the owner Bob was not very nice. Literally, you would say hi to this man and he would act like he did not hear it or did not see you. I stayed there due to a job and I was moving into an...

WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE IF YOU BOOK IN ADVANCE. Not only are the owners rude and gruff they are RIP-OFFS. Here's our story. Booked this place 3 months in advance. We offer to give them our credit card. No, they would not take it. We thought it was strange but what the heck we heard this place is old...

For medical reasons a place to stay with kitchen options was needed and air bnb was impossible due to long term needs. The first impression of room 112 was, well, the worst room I've rented. Like stepping into 1968, musty, dark and the worst smoked-in room ever. My nose just wouldn't get used to it . I knew I was...

The management was not very pleasent to deal with. Their beds are old. The rooms are outdated. The highway noise is profound. If I were you, I'd recommend another location. The management charged me for three nights when I reserved it for only two. They refused to reverse the one night even when I provided them with my flight information.

The Hillside Inn is notable for its cleanliness and nice atmosphere and reasonable price. It is accessible to many restaurants, near many wineries and the owner, Bob, was a very fine host. The Inn is also dog friendly.
