Our ac blew out hot air and they brought up a fan to help. The beds were not the most comfortable and they could definitely benefit from new pillows. So, overall, not a great night's sleep as we were overheated and uncomfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning is really nice as they include fruit, hard-boiled eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels,...

I love and old. But I do not love dated, dingy, and musty. The AC didn't work- we did complain about it, but nothing was fixed. The bedding and mattress felt and looked like it had been used since the 1950s. The bathroom was full of marble tiles, but apparently they blew their budget there because the bathtub felt like...

Our room was large, though a bit dated. Bed was very soft -- fine for me, not for my hubby. Nice location, a bit on the edge of town and during the day there were quite a few homeless folks out front and along the street, but no problems. TV did not work. Free parking 1/2 block away.

I stayed at La Rose with my husband and two kids last weekend. It is a very beautiful historic property, The woman who greeted us was very helpful and was courteous enough to switch our room to having two beds instead of the one we were booked in. We had a nice suite. The beds were not the most comfortable,...

My husband and I spent one Saturday night at the Hotel La Rose earlier this month. It was our first time to Santa Rosa and at the hotel. We found the room to be sweet and full of vintage charm. The location was terrific-perfect for a late latte with a cafe on the opposite corner and restaurants around the block....

Stayed two nights at Hotel La Rose while touring the Sonoma Wineries. The hotel is a nice hotel within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The early morning staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast served its purpose of a quick bite before sightseeing.

Hello! I came to the Hotel La Rose last June; I was on a trip in California with my mum (I'm in my 40's, from Europe, and this trip was an incredible gift!). This hotel was one of the best ones where we stayed!! Excellent mattress and the staff very friendly! But I also very much liked all the second-hand/...

A good location in Santa Rosa and a pleasant warm welcome and stay in the hotel. We like very much the "old hotels" that have been well preserved and offer a touch of class as opposed to the shiny big modern hotels. Nice way to have a comfortable stay and enjoy the Schultz Museum which is close by and merits...

We stayed here for a night and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is a 100 year old fixture in the Railroad District of downtown Santa Rosa. It is pretty well maintained, very clean and conveniently located to be able to walk to many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The rooms are nothing fancy, but are well appointed and...
