We spent the day in Ojai, and Santa Paula is a short ride away. Since we hadn't found anything reasonably priced available in Ojai, this seemed perfect. It was okay. The Glen Tavern Inn is an Historic Landmark so I believe they can only do a certain amount of updating. So there is no elevator. Not a big problem, but...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Glen tavern Inn. Ojai is a very beautiful city not to far from our location with a picturesque mountain drive. We hope you choose to stay with us again. Santa Paula also offers some great hiking spots as well as a few museum within walking distance of the Inn.

Everything was perfect-from the staff, the room, the restaurant, to the atmosphere, and the price, everything was just perfect for me. I felt like I was home. Like somehow I belonged there amongst the old film memorabilia and long lost memories. I cannot wait to go back.

It's okay for the price. I paid about $90 for the room and am happy I didn't pay more. Some positives: front desk staff was friendly; large room; pretty lobby; meal at Enzo's was good. Negatives: the sheets and towels were threadbare; room door only had one lock and no extra deadbolt that is just locked from the inside; extra...

This place may once have been lovely but now it is well past its prime. The entry is dark, the furniture is old, the paint is peeling, the rooms are tiny. Hard to say when the toilet bowl was last cleaned but it wasn't recently. The sheets may have been nice when they were new- maybe a decade ago? When...

I am sorry to hear that your stay at the Inn was not satisfactory. It is correct that the Inn offers a continental breakfast served only on Saturday and Sunday mornings; the Italian restaurant only severs dinner. We do appreciate that you chose to stay at our Inn and hope that you may try our Inn/restaurant another time.

We had a great stay here. Our room had a few problems, but they were fixed as soon as we notified the staff. We had drinks and a great dinner in the restaurant, then took a glass of wine to our room. We had a heart-shaped tub that we did not make use of, but it was cute! Our bed...

Thank you for staying with us! That heart tub is truly something else. Hope to see you again the next time you are in Santa Paula.

Lumpy beds, nightstands covered in dust, scratchy towels with holes in them, sheets that didn't fit the bed, stained lobby furniture, and a manager who couldn't be more snippy and rude - what else could one want in a hotel..if they might have lived in a tent before or something? The attached restaurant was a disappointment too. If it weren't...

We lucked out and got the classic haunted room (307 – booked months in advance!). Can’t say that we had a truly haunted experience, but that is common with these ‘haunted’ rooms. They just might happen - maybe, maybe not…not like there is a guarantee with the room booking or anything! The true cool part is that this has the...

I'm just going to write a quick review of my opinion of this Hotel. First I only stayed there one night on a business trip and only because my friends said it was haunted. im not a ghost hunter but i thought what the heck, the hotel is located in a old / historic district in Santa Paula, the inside...

Thank you for choosing the Glen Tavern as your place so stay during your business trip. I hope that the next time you are passing though Santa Paula you choose to stay with us again. There is defiantly a lot of history to this quiet little town. It is correct that the desk closes its operating hours shortly after 9pm...

I love all things vintage and the moment we drove up to the hotel, we were greeted with old time nostalgic charm. It reminded me of the same charm of The Stanley Hotel... just filled with character and stories.... and murder! IF I ONLY KNEW THIS PLACE WAS HAUNTED!!! I love haunted places and I didn't even know I was...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Glen Tavern Inn. We now have a grand piano in the lobby to add to the old time charm. Perhaps the next time you stay with us you may experience something paranormal; we sure do have a unique history.

We stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn during the last week of April, as of now about three months back, but I don't think it has changed much in the past three months since it hasn't changed much since being built in 1911. I always like to finish our video review before launching into a written critique of the properties...
