Stayed here for 2 nights after getting off the cruise ship. Great location right on the beach. Short walk towards the pier and all the shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and the staff so friendly. Would definitely recommend this...More
The hotel is well maintained and comfortable rooms. Location is great, secure building, parking available very close to Santa Monica Pier. I would stay here again but did miss not having a swimming pool. Parking is a bit expensive.
I don’t know why this hotel gets bad reviews, we love it. It’s not a fancy place but it is clean. We always pay extra to get a top floor ocean view room. It’s a short walk to the boardwalk but so much quieter than...More

Dear Tyler L,
Please contact me directly as I don't have a record of you staying with us at the Bayside Hotel.
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller
coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
