My wife found this cozy place in the middle of Santa Cruz. Almost like visiting some family. Great rooms with fireplace and great social atmosphere. A watermill outside the door giving at peaceful sound. Pure relaxation. Wharf and main street in walking distance.

Thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to write a review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. I agree with your comments about our waterwheel. The sounds are relaxing and makes you forget that we are in the middle of Santa Cruz. I hope we can welcome you back soon. Warm regards Jesus Castillo...

Quirky, cool, and wonderfully accommodating. The late afternoon check-in treats with wine, along with a delicious breakfast the next day were much appreciated. The room was inviting, cozy, and comfortable. A water wheel was just outside our balcony which made it sound like a rainy night as we drifted off to sleep in a lusciously soft bed. Our unit was...

Thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to write a review. The Fern Grotto is my favorite room for the same reasons as your comments. It has a great patio and the sounds of the waterwheel and the brook are very relaxing. Thank you for your kind words and we hope you will visit us again...

We had a very nice stay at Babbling Brook. Their staff is friendly and we had a nice little room. The whole place is tucked into a little hillside. it feels like you're in the woods but it's close to the beach, boardwalk, etc. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I stayed again at Babbling Brook, this time with my daughter in the Fern Grotto room. What a lovely room! It is tucked away under the main deck and has a patio overlooking the mill wheel. We had the sound of rushing water to quiet the night, and a stained glass door into the bath. Quaint and lovely. We did...

Thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to write a review. I had an strange coincident happen the day you and your daughter checked in. I was asked, "What's your favorite thing about working here?" I responded by saying " It's seeing familiar smiling faces of repeat guests walk up the staircase to our lobby." To...

We spent 3 nights at the Babbling Brook recently. The room itself is lovely and the landscaping of the venue is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Everything is of highest quality. Breakfast is excellent with numerous choices, warm and cold. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. However, there is one major flaw which could easily be...

Stayed for one night in the Contessa Room at the Babbling Brook Inn. It was a stormy night and the babbling brook was a raging river. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay. The Inn was quirky, but in a good way. Very comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast. Would stay here again.

Thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to write a review. We're so happy you enjoyed your stay. When it storms, the brook roars. it's great because it distracts from the city life around us, but can get pretty loud at times. I hope we can welcome you back in the future. We loved staying 2 nights in the Contessa Room. It was spacious for 3 of us and so very comfortable. The fireplace was great. The breakfast and evening happy hour both were very nice with plenty of food. The garden was charming and lush and the stroll into the town was 20 minutes. The stand out aspect was the staff....

This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast. We arrived in the late afternoon, and the clerk told us of a good place to watch the sunset. They host a free happy hour with wine and light appetizers. The hotel is older, but has been updated. We had an excellent breakfast in the morning. Depending on where your room is located,...

We were looking for a relaxing getaway and the Babbling Brook Inn did not disappoint.
