My husband and I stayed at The Villa Rosa Inn in October 2015 and April 2016. Because we enjoyed it so much the first time, we decided to return. With only 18 rooms, the hotel has the feel of a bed and breakfast inn. The service is excellent. The complimentary breakfast and late afternoon happy hour add a nice touch....

We happened upon this place, which was unassuming on the outside, but spacious, comfortable and authentic on the inside. Free wine and cheese in the afternoon, free continental breakfast in the morning. Pool, spa, close to the beach, the train station and to town. Just beautiful.

My wife Hilde and I just spent the most enjoyable 4 days at this great place. A comfortable upstairs room ( #6 ), actually 2 seperate bedrooms, bath, TV (functioning), super internet access, in breve, - the works. The Villa Rosa Inn associates -without fail- were attentive, knowledgeable, outgoing. Two stars for proximity to beach and flat screen TV. Stayed in cottage unit. Switched to another unit at last minute by owner-no reason given and this unit doesn't have amenities or furnishings that original appeared to offer and what we contracted for. Furnishing look like they came from a thrift store. We have an ocean view ( of sorts...

We came to Villa Rosa in last July. I absolutely loved it. It was well kept, quaint, cozy, beautiful, and in the perfect location, right off the beach, away from the busy roads. Happy hour surrounded by beautiful gardens, the pretty pool in the courtyard and the lovely ambiance was amazing. I slept like a baby in the comfy beds...

My boyfriend and I were looking for a last minute weekend jaunt to nearby Santa Barbara. We found a groupon getaway for Villa Rosa Inn, SB for a decent price ($250) read average reviews and said what the hell. The outside of this place was nice but unkept. The main issues we found we are as follows: 1. The decor...

Everything in Santa Barbara is expensive, I get that. This hotel is no exception. Parking is abysmal. There are only a few marked stalls for the Inn and the rest of the parking involves complicated street parking rules and permits. The Inn is close to the ocean but with absolutely no view of it from the hotel. It is also...

My boyfriend and I stayed here on an impromptu weekend getaway and I have to say it's not that bad. Great location if you are planning on walking State St and the pier, and it's only a block from the beach. We booked through a discount site so we called in advance to make sure we got a king room...

Villa Rosa is a classically beautiful building and the location couldn't be better, but the current owner, an infamous landlord, is shamefully neglecting it and bringing it to ruin. Google "Dario Pini" to learn about his misdeeds. It is heartbreaking that this place which held such wonderful memories for me is now so degraded. West Beach is the best location...

We stayed in Santa Barbara for 3 nights on our way home from a long vacation in Palm Springs. Neither of us had ever been and the Villa Rosa was recommended to us by a gentleman we met in the desert who lives in SB. After perusing their website, we booked in for our stay, but were quite disappointed when...
