Despite all of the glorious reviews we were quite disappointed by the Lemon Tree Inn. The room was decorated in dark and gloomy colours and was not very clean with tatty curtains. Dirty towels were left on the floor and ants were crawling inside the bathroom. For what it is this place is overpriced and there are better options

Only stayed here as a planned stopover but would stop again. Checking in very efficient and helpful, easy to locate room and parked right outside which helped with the bags we had!! Rooms very spacious and while bedroom part was modern and up to date, bathroom end was not as sharp and also smelt a little damp. Beds very comfy,...

We recently spent four days at the Lemon Tree Inn while celebrating a special family event. Excellent location, about a mile to the center of Santa Barbara. Room was comfortable and quiet. Good front-desk staff that made us feel welcome. Looks like a good restaurant on-site, but we had family-gatherings elsewhere, so didn't use the dining facilities. We would definitely...

Pros: courtyard and pool area Cons: staff is not trust worthy Tips: Avoid booking at this hotel! My girlfriends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway/birthday. The hotel is nice for the price. I felt the room was kept clean too. We looked forward to using this hotel again for our next stay in Santa Barbara - that is...

We were lucky and got a room that has clearly been recently refurbished. There is nothing as such wrong with this 'hotel' but nothing right as well. All the comments to in Terrible and poor are true, but just less so in my room. My biggest bug bears were lack of parking thanks to the restaurant, WiFi that gives you...

Nice environment - lemon trees! Beautiful pool with lighting. There is Crocodile restaurant inside (Italian). But I liked Japanese cafe not so far from the hotel. There is no hotel name inside reception (only crododile logos) - was confusing by it. There was a little smell and dampness in the room. Probably need to be ventilated more.

I am aware of the fact that my review may be positively biased. This is because the night before, I was staying in a run down and ill-managed Motel 6 down the road in Goleta which is quite literally located on the motorway connecting LA and San Francisco. This place feels like heaven in comparison. The rooms are basic, but...

We were a group of 5 friends who spent one night at this hotel. We arrived late so we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Amazing salmon with Parmesan crust. Comfy beds. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay and enjoy the amazing garden or pool. Highly recommend.

We only stayed here one night, but wished it could have been longer. This is a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. It has some lovely outdoor areas, and we had a little patio with a table and chairs outside our room. However it was raining, so we did not use it. We hope to come...

I wish we had been able to stay longer because it was lovely here. Great location and the rooms are huge. The pool looked beautiful, restaurant on site. If we came back to Santa Barbara we'd stay here for longer.
