Overall the place was nice and I would most likely return. It's a very nice location with a pretty decent restaurant having outdoor seating as well to take in the outdoor beauty. The beds were very firm and we felt sore for the next 24...More

We like the Franciscan Inn because it is close to the beach, one of the best restaurants around (Toma), and in walking distance to State Street (assuming you have some time). The staff are uniformly helpful and kind, the rooms are comfortable and the chocolate...More

What a lovely hotel! It is located within a block of the beach with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The front staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well decorated. Our stay was perfect! Our family highly recommends Franciscan Inn!

You'll have to walk to the beachfront and then up State Street, but it's about half an hour in total. Or you can walk to Stearns Wharf (about 10 minutes) and get the free shuttle up to the Downtown areas.

No views from our room. We were in the first floor. I would not expect great views, since the hotel is a block or so from the coast, and it is not a tall building.
