First time at this hotel. Get a room with a balcony facing the beach. It may be an extra charge but well worth it! We loved the design of hotel and enjoyed walking through the hallways with old photos on display. Happy hour by the pool was fantastic! The price as well as the atmosphere cant be beat! The main...

I'm a Lifetime Platinum Marriott member and gave Hyatt a try for a recent business trip since the Marriott was too far away. I had a nice ocean view and a spacious room with a patio. It's literally across from the beach and is close (but not walkable) to State Street where all the restaurants and bars are located. The...

Great location at east beach for the SB triathlon, not cheap but did not insist on a 2 nite min like others in this area. It fronts on a beautiful net of walking and biking trails; a very safe swim beach is across the street.

We have stayed at the Hyatt many times on our trips to Santa Barbara. The reason we choose the Hyatt is that it is across from the beach and close to the college campus we visit several times a year. It has become increasingly expensive. I had enough points to get two nights free, so that made it somewhat more...

Very disappointing. The location is the upside as well as some of the staff is helpful. They are understaffed...the staff they have seem a bit overwhelmed Our room wasn't clean upon arrival. It is a sprawling hotel and hard to even locate the restaurant. The furniture is chipped and old. It is an expensive hotel and should be nicer for...

Very disappointed with what seems to be a heritage property near the beach. Checkin- terrible, Valet best part of the trip. Room, run down and needs a major update. The air-conditioner didn't work and the rugs and the lines were definitely worn with age. I will not return nor would I recommend this place to anyone. They are super busy...
