This hotel is ideally located across from the ocean and near the Funk Zone and zoo. The staff is welcoming and professional. The pool area is great for kids and adults. Be sure to visit some of three local restaurants, On the Alley, Lucky Penny.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I can't imagine a better location across from the ocean, and our room in the main building was very nice. Staff, especially the guys that hold the front door open were great and willing to answer questions and hand us a map. The free coffee in the lobby was very good which isn't always the case at hotels. We spent...

Before booking, my husband and I read nice reviews on Hyatt Centric Santa Barbara so we decided to stay here. To save money, we used Priceline to reserve. As soon as we arrived & seen that we didn't book directly through Hyatt, we were given the bait and switch for our room! All those great reviews were for the NEWER...

My wife and I stayed one night. The staff were generally friendly, but made no effort to acknowledge my World of Hyatt status nor address any of the perks that come with it. The room was clean, but a bit dated and needs general maintenance. Happy hour was good at Mar Vista and the pool was decent, but nothing exceptionally...

Thank you so much for posting a comprehensive review for us. We are happy to know that you found our team to be friendly and genuine as well as our Happy Hour. Wow, what can I say, simply outstanding. We arrived following a five hour trip from San Francisco. Met by Ammy, who was simply amazing. Upon checking in, we were given a bottle of bubbly and chocolate strawberries to celebrate our honeymoon. Now, this was our 5th hotel in a ten day trip around California and the first hotel to recognise...

We came to check in after driving 5 hours to santa Barbra. I had already pre paid for the stay. While driving up I left my drivers Lic accidentally at a stop 1 hour away. When checking in I noticed it. She said I could not check in without it. Forget it typing this is making me mad. Just say...

We booked through TripAdvisor and thought for the money we paid we would get a pretty nice room. Unfortunately, we ended up in the Santa Rosa building (they have 5 separate buildings), which must be their lowest option. It is actually on the street behind the hotel, so no ocean views. Rooms are very outdated (ripped box spring, olive green...

Old hotel, bad rooms, bad and smelly carpets, bad beds, bad sheets, very bad AC. For $405 dollars per night! We were surprised but couldn't do nothing the first night, my family and I left the next morning.

Great location and great beds. The rest looks like coming from another brand one decade ago. Hope you don't have an agitated neighbor above your bedroom of the sleeping experience will be special. Ok for one night but not longer.
