Was in Santa Barbara for a concert with the wife and we stayed here. The room was amazing and beautiful. Comfortable bed, large size, felt like I was staying in someone's apartment. It was far more than I expected when I booked a "motel". The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they advertise breakfast is included, but their...

The area was safe and pleasant. The grounds and building were attractive and tidy. The room we held was clean and comfortable. Two full beds, a small table and two chairs, a bureau with TV atop it, and a dorm-size refrigerator topped by a microwave pretty much utilized all the functional space, allowing just enough room to walk. It was...

Pleasant rooms, the receptionist waited up for us to arrive after a long drive from Monterey which was very nice. Good location, very close drive to the courthouse and the harbour. Bathroom is very nice and clean, rooms are average sized. Only bad thing would be that our beds were very creaky and a tad uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't great but...

This is an affordable hotel in an area where you can easily pay more than $300 for a room per night. The Sunset is no-nonsense, clean, with friendly staff. On the downside, some of the clientele don't respect obvious rules like not making excessive noise in the parking lot late at night and early morning, but that's a problem with...

We were planning a very last minute weekend getaway to Santa Barbara this past weekend and every hotel/motel we looked at was either sold out or insanely expensive, but I'm so glad I found the Sunset Motel, they had one room left for a decent price (considering the last minute reservation) so we booked it. The motel itself is located...

Nice location across the street from one of Santa Barbara's best dining institution...Harrys! The room was nice and we paid roughly 130 for a Monday stay. anything more than this would be too much. Parking is limited and does fill up fast. The continental breakfast consisted of muffins and coffee, nothing to brag about. If you can get into the...

Very comfortable, quiet, convenient, clean & reasonable! Fresh, tasty items for continental breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Travel brochures handy and the motel is in a lovely setting. Will definitely be back!

The place is conveniently located (if you come with a car) on the main street of the city, but still a bit away from the downtown, in a quiet neighborhood. We haven't expected much, but the the room was surprisingly clean. There were a couple of minuses though. First, the sink is located outside of the bathroom, a bit separated...

The price of the room was relatively cheap compared to others in Santa Barbara (around $90) during the spring break time. We have stayed here twice now and the second time was even better than the first. Though the room is slightly smaller than most hotels, the bed is SO comfortable (memory foam mattress?) and the TV was very large...

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night as we're driving up the coast to San francisco. It was all we needed, a nice base to check out santa barbara! The room was small but the bed was very comfy! Nice sized tv. Free wifi. Breakfast was a nice selection, and was nice to be provided with a tray...
