Stayed at the Motel 6, expecting a Motel 6. "Run down and...bla bla bla" ... What I got was a Kitchey, cute Euro style hotel room with a VERY comfy bed. Bring you Amazon Firestick or what ever you prefer this up to date little hotel has what you need. Yes the outside is dated and it looks like a...

This is a chain of motels in the low to mid range. You wont get someone carrying your bags but you will get soap and a bed. Close to the sea and a great restaurant bar in Rincom. The stairs are not good to get up with bags and are starting to rot but the pool is clean.

For a short stay stop off on a road trip, this motel was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. It is walking distance from the beach. It is a bit of a walk to the pier, but we managed to do this walk two nights in a row. The rooms are clean, but a bit small for a group...

This motel was slightly more expensive considering we went in "off" season. While only a short walk to the beach it was about a 20 minute straightforward into town. There was free parking and the rooms were modern and clean.

Rooms were clean, if a bit small, and staff were certainly helpful. There was no shampoo by default - we had to ask for some. The free wifi was serviceable, if a bit slow. The lack of any real breakfast options was a touch annoying, but maybe to be expected (just means you go for a breakfast burrito instead, which...

Unfortunately this hotel is a good 25 minute walk to where the life is on State Street and Stearn's Wharf. The girl on the desk was very helpful although later on we were scared to go into reception because she was having a blazing row with what seemed to be her boss (unprofessional). The "non smoking" room smelt of smoke...

Carlisle, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for your unpleasant stay as a result of the inconveniences you experienced with the size of the room and the comfort of your bed during your recent stay. Please know the window condition you describe is an exception to our guest commitment and as such, we apologize for the noise inconvenience...

Having stayed in many independent motels, we thought motel 6 would be a "safe bet" for our visit to Santa Barbara. Although the room was clean and close to the pier and downtown, the rooms are very small compared to independents at a similar cost. The wifi was also an additional charge which is unusual.

The heater is very noisy and if you turn it off during the night you will be frozen. No free wifi, no breakfast. A bit expensive for just a room (not close to the city center). But the room was clean and bed ok.

Since this is a Motel 6, one shouldn't expect the Ritz - which I have been fortunate enough to stay at. But for what is essentially a bed and shower, this place wasn't bad. Our room had an actual ocean view if you leaned to the right, the rooms have been recently remodeled and were clean. The one down side...

We have stayed in Motel 6's across California on our road trip south and were very pleased with this one. Not much to say about the rooms as they are pretty universal. Good bed nice clean modern decor with good shower. The plaque in reception stated that this was the very first motel 6 which was pretty cool. It is...
