This is a lovely spot to stay. We stayed in the Plantation building and loved the way the room was decorated. Super comfortable bed, cosy robes, a large bathroom, cookies and popcorn in the lobby at all hours and a selection of DVDs to borrow. Breakfast was good - lots of selection and they offered waffles made to order. Definitely...

The two staff members with whom I had contact were pleasant and helpful, so no complaints on that score. With my tight schedule, I barely glanced at what looked like a wide variety of breakfast selections in the morning. I only managed a half-cup of coffee to go, along with a small muffin. They were fine, so no complaints there...

Thank you so much for taking the time to give your feedback here on Tripadvisor. I am happy to hear that our front desk staff and housekeeping staff are doing a wonderful job. We have three buildings, each decorated in a very different style so if the Plantation building is not to your taste we do have other options. We...

We have been going to SLO for the past 4 years while one of kids goes to CalPoly. At various times we have stayed in many of the places along Monterrey Rd. We came to San Luis Creek Lodge more recently. It was booked up most of the times we went up there and now I know why. This is...

Thank you very much for your comments. We have a lot of Cal Poly parents stay with us and it is a privilege to be a part of their journey through those college years. We try to provide as good a service as possible and I love to hear how our staff are doing such a wonderful job! Thank you...

The rooms here are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The bathrobes are the softest and most comfortable I've ever had the pleasure to wear. Everything about this place is comfortable and cosy. Breakfast is included and is served. Y the friendly, professional staff. A real gem and one I will return to one day

My daughter and I stayed here while touring Cal Poly. It was perfect for us - spacious rooms and 2 sinks in bathrooms. It was clean and well maintained with good internet, fun movie selections and comfy beds. The breakfast was fine, nothing great, but the staff was especially kind and accommodating. It's literally 2 minutes from campus. It was...

I would highly recommend this hotel. It had such character and felt more like a B&B than a motel/lodge. You could tell someone had taken the time to attend to each of buildings. The rooms were clean and comfortable with interesting decor that looked current and tasteful. Seems like it was renovated recently so reflects current decorating trends. We stayed...

I can't say enough about this hotel...I travel quite a bit for work and 99% of the time I stay in one of the hotels in a specific chain so that I earn points for my stays. I come to San Luis Obispo at least twice a year and can honestly say that this is the only place I go...

Pros -- Room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable, receptionists at guest were very friendly and helpful, conveniently located for a trip to visit Cal Poly Cons -- Felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel (if that's what you are looking for, it would be a great option), parking lot very tight fit. Suited our purpose --...

Thank you so much for your review. We are a small boutique property that aims to provide a very personal and friendly service for our guests. I understand that some of our visitors may prefer a large hotel. I am glad you appreciated our service. Thanks again, June

Great choice for an overnight stop along Californian coast, close to Highway 1 and Freeway 101. Very comfortable beds, with huge TV, and DVD's free to borrow (+ popcorn). Complementary breakfast buffet perfectly adequate, incl. fresh waffles. Clean rooms, although decor not to everyone's taste. Downtown SFO is a short drive away.

Spent three comfortable nights in the Plantation building which is at the back of the property away from the road. Very quiet. Had a standard room, upstairs.
