I have stayed multiple times. Beware of rooms (especially lower level), that are on road side near end, they are right next to the rubbish and it is noisy. Far better to ask for a room on the other side. Those rooms are nice, and reasonably equipped. Included Breakfast is a bonus, plenty of fruit, cooked items, bread products etc. Makes a big difference having this.

Pros: Great location Clean Chromcast Easy to redeem WOH night Toiletries are limited but pleasant
Cons: Breakfast underwhelming compared to other HP. See my photos. No hot items as described on WoH app. No on-site parking. Valet is $35 Airplane noise is frequent Noisy - we could hear hallway and neighbor conversations

This hotel was really nice, but our room was extremely noisy. We could hear everything happening on the street and in the hallway. Our room was clean, but the corners and edges could have used an extra vacuum and the ledges of pictures could have used some dusting. The bathroom needs a new coat of paint; you could see a thin layer was applied to cover something. The drain in the shower was very slow and left us standing in water while showering. The beds were comfortable, staff was nice, and the breakfast was great.

I was pleasantly surprised immediately upon arrival. Check in was easy and friendly. In fact, all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. A few staff members truly made me feel like family, quite exceptional. Our room and the hotel in general was clean and inviting. In fact, the holiday decor in the the lobby area was very nicely done. Such things don't usually capture my attention, but it just looked warm and aesthetically pleasing (I can't believe I'm commenting on this). Service was good all around, including the bar/restaurant and the breakfast was above average. The parking garage was easily accessible, clean and the parking spaces was roomy and easy to get in and out of. Elevators seemed a bit slow, but other than that all aspects were exceptional. I'll be back here for my future trips to San Jose!

The location is very central and a lot of food places were within walking distance. We encountered an unexpected leakage coming from the 9th floor into the hallway area of the room. The leakage was not related to any wear or tear from the building but a guest accidentally left the sink faucet running which ended up causing the leakage. We contacted front staff immediately and Erica and Mary were able to assist and send up the maintenance staff right away. To compensate for the inconvenience and unexpected situation, they took care of our parking and room service fees. That was really nice and considerate given the situation. Also during our stay we had great service from Armando (front desk/bar staff), he was friendly and offered suggestions! His daiquiri drinks were prepared deliciously! The buffet breakfast was delicious and more than what we expected, we would definitely come back here again for sure!

We purchased our stay thru american express for five night stay. Prepaid When we checked in the night front desk staff gave us our keycard and said we can use it for parking gargage. At not time did he inform our party of three of a fee for the garage. There are no signs on the garage of daily fees for the use of the garage. When we checked out the frint desk told us they will be adding $40 a day plus tax and fees for garage parking. When we tried to dispute this they said they do not need signs and it is on their website. I explained to then we purchased it under american express and did not check the hyatt website for parking fees. They told me we are sh… of of luck.

This place is great for all-night partyers. Front desk staff is more interested in getting your personal email for point collection instead of being transparent that the room they selected for me is by massive trash area belonging to the hotel. Additionally, the staff will use the trash during the night and city picks up at 4:30am, DAILY!!!!
Great for those who have insomnia, terrible for the rest of the population. To add to this, $40 parking each night. Man....Nightmare at Hyatt Street

Top customer service and some of the best that I had in a long time. I highly value great customer service. I was pleased that Erica and Armando went above and beyond; they anticipated my needs and made sure I had the most comfortable stay. This location was a perfect difference from the airport and was a reasonable price especially since it included breakfast!

All employee interactions (from housekeeping, front desk and everyone inbetween) were top notch! Went above and beyond and it did not go unnoticed!! Breakfast was delicious and hotel overall was clean and inviting. The room doors are heavy and slam to close but hotel provides a sound machine that helped drown out some of those noises thankfully. Conveniently located across from the convention center. Overall enjoyed our weekend and would stay here again.

I had an excellent night! The hotel staff were courteous, and extremely helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy because I used the hotel app. My room was spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable, and I loved that there were a lot of fluffy pillows! I liked that this room had a small frig where I could store water and salads which I bought at downstairs at the hotel's market. Though it only took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to use the fan/air conditioner, it wasn't hard and I kept the fan on all night. :)
The hotel room also had a charger near the desk lamp (not sure if it was attached to the desk lamp). You might think this isn't a big deal, but I've been to other hotels where I had to search for an outlet somewhere in the room.
Even in these Covid times, the breakfast was still generous. There were pre-packaged meals, bagels, breads, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, and fresh coffee available. Instead of various toasters, the hotel provided large toaster machines. I love these machines which slowly take one's bagel/bread and, in a minute, slides out a toasted bagel/piece of toast.
The only negative is that I wished there were a better way for the hotel to show potential and/or current hotel guests a way to the actual entrance inside the hotel. There's a glass door facing San Carlos Street that should have a sticker on it saying, "This is not an entrance". There should also be arrow signs with, "Entrance to Hotel...This way" or something like this.
Anyway, I enjoyed my stay here.
