This is an historic gem of a motel on famous Route 66 in Rialto, CA. The motel was created in 1949 by a man named Frank Redford. Unfortunately, I have not bad an opportunity to stay at the motel; I've only visited the property. But if you're taking the must-do excursion down Route 66, you must stop in here for...

I was skeptical when my wife said she booked a tepee when we were planning our RT 66 trip, But I have to admit now that if you are doing the 66 things - you should do stay here for a night. Pluses - a cool old fashion motel concept; neat and tidy property w/ very cool concrete wigwams, old...

Totally cool experience. My daughters dug it! Shower was awesome and the staff was friendly. It is on a major road in San Bernardino so the traffic noise is a bit load outside but not bothersome in the "rooms". Staff even gave us a couple suggestions for local eats.

Traveling with my daughter on a Rt 66 adventure. Of course we had to sleep in a wigwam! Turned out to be clean, spacious, comfortable and fun. Didn't get to meet the legendary owner but his daughter and son were great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Arrived too late to go out to eat but they arranged for delivery from...

We decided to stay in San Bernardino to get a late night head start on getting out of LA, but the Wigwam Motel is well worth a trip on its own. It’s so much fun to stay in a wigwam / tepee. The room was larger inside than expected, with a bar fridge & sofa, a cosy atmosphere and a...

This is a fun place to stay. It is an old motel but nicely kept up. It was clean and comfortable. It was so much fun to sleep in our individual teepee. I am sure that kids would love it. There are a bunch of old cars parked around the property - very photogenic.

My family and I were travelling Route 66 over December/January so had to stay at the Wigwam Motel to get another part of the '66' experience. I am so glad we did! We had an absolute blast at this place. The accomodations were awesome (who wouldn't love to sleep in a teepee, but with all of the comforts of home),...

An amazing piece of Amaricana! This was on my bucket list to stay here. They take Route 66 and the history seriously. We came here for the direct purpose of staying at the Wigwam. The only downfall and you can't really blame the Wigwam, is that the surrounding area is pretty drab.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I had made this reservation and my husband was skeptical, but he was very happy with it after all. He thought we would have to be constantly ducking because of a low ceiling, but the room was surprisingly spacious! The ceiling is not low at all. We finally met Kumar and had a great time...

An awesome place to end our travels on Route 66 for the first time though we were only able to stay one night. Sleeping in an individual wigwam was awesome & nice to park your car right outside the door.
