We wanted a quiet get away from stress and found it at Robins Nest! All the rooms have a theme and we had the "nautical" room. It was perfect for us! Had an enormous claw foot soaking tub and a electric fireplace for ambiance. Had a really cool window that allowed us to open and hear the rain while soaking... More

We were looking for a place to stay as my husband was performing a wedding for our son in the garden at the Pickle Patch. I found the Robins Nest on line. We had our first experience with a bed and breakfast. We had a wonderful weekend stay. The husband and wife were, Bill and Karen, friendly and so pleasant... More

Beautiful stay, hosts were perfect. After a really enjoyable day in Yosemite we were fortunate to stay in the most amazing place in San Andreas. We were given a huge room with a fire place, free standing bath in the room and steps up to the bed! Bill was so welcoming. Highly recommended!!

Cheerio Josh & Hayley: the pleasure was all mine. Consider the room upgrade a small wedding present. It's unfortunate the Honeymoon Suite was occupied. Thank you for the review: brilliant! Hope you enjoy Old Sac and rest of your vacation. Remember: Raw fruit & Veggies = Enzymes = Digestion = Happy Immune System = Good Health! More

The owners, Bill & Karen, have sacrificed blood, sweat, and tears to create such a treasured Victorian B&B. My husband and I have done much remodeling in our various homes in former years, so we have a personal appreciation for all the work that this host couple has accomplished on their B&B. Bill also keeps everything working great, which is... More

The owners were very friendly and helpful suggesting things to do while in the area. Their home was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Our room was on the main floor, had an incredibly comfortable bed, fireplace, big bathtub and decent overall size. The daily breakfasts were outstanding. I got up a few hours before everyone else but they made sure... More

Just back from a very enjoyable three night holiday weekend stay. We are not regular B&B'ers, but this visit might change us. Todd and I felt completely welcomed right from the get go. The decor is full-on Victorian dream. Bill and Karen have lovingly created a magical place for travelers to feel part of this home-away-from-home. Our Cirque Room was... More

Staying at Robin's nest was a unique experience. The house was old and beautiful with very interesting interiors. The room was clean and decorated with a big splash of personality. The hosts were truly helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was served at a time of our choice and it was very good. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to eat this... More

Bill and Karen were amazing hosts with a beautiful home. We stayed in the Carousel room, on the top floor. Very comfortable bed, full bath, and a deep soaking tub. Perfect for a relaxing and romantic stay. We enjoyed gourmet breakfast both mornings. The mango soup was a pleasant surprise. I hope to learn how to make it. Bill was... More

Warm greeting by owner included tour of the entire house since we arrived in early afternoon. He was generous with his time and shared wonderful stories about many of the details and improvements of the house. We had a great "happy hour" on the lawn outside while playing on the ladder golf set there. Then in the evening, we enjoyed... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We're glad you found it a positive experience. I think the proper name for the game is "ladder-toss" or "bolo-toss" however as the bolos are made with golf balls, the name you assigned is equally if not even more suitable. More

We had two rooms recently for myself and my husband and my daughter and son-in-law. We were upgraded from the nook and cranny rooms to the gardenia and soleil rooms. We too had the grand tour of the house, which was interesting. There are a lot of items around which adds to the character. We did notice some dust, but... More
