This is the second time that we've stayed here. The location is about a half hour drive from St. Helena, out in the boonies of Chiles Valley, but that is the environment we wanted. This is a large horse ranch as well as a winery, and there is a hiking trail and lots of friendly dogs and cats (and horses...

We have been coming out to Napa for several decades and if you haven't noticed---it is changing! From the wineries asking for outrageous sums for a few sips of wine in the tasting room to sheer numbers of people showing up. Yes, change is the only constant, however, success can change the core of the experience in a not-so-fantastic way....

What a fantastic place to stay in Napa! It is a little out of the hustle and bustle/touristy areas, but still very well situated for wine tours/visits to wineries. It is a wonderful, rustic getaway and the hosts are really welcoming and all-round lovely people. Cannot recommend it enough! My only regret is not staying longer - and I plan...

RustRidge is an idyllic getaway for people who love Napa Valley and its vineyards but don't want to stay in tourist-crowded towns. A beautiful 15-20 minute drive from the Silverado Trail, the property is surrounded by vineyards and hills. The rooms are nice and comfortable, while not luxurious; the swimming pool is lovely and wonderfully situated near the vineyards; and...

My daughter had told us about this wonderful hidden gem of a bed and breakfast in Napa, so we decided to take a short getaway from the city. First of all the owners are the most kindest, sweetest people we have ever met. The room we stayed in was clean and very neat and charming. I have o e regret...

What a fantastic place to stay! We stayed in the cottage attached to the main residence in the woods. Everything in our cottage was neat and clean and very tidy. The windows were open in the evening to let the cool night air in. Across the driveway was the main guest lodging where we got to go every morning for...

We just got back from two nights at the ranch and we had the most relaxing, fun, and charming experience. The owners, Jimmie and Susan, make you feel so welcomed and are so fun to talk with. We have three kids ages, 15, 15, and 11 and they didn't want to leave to come home. That tells you something! Even...

We just returned from a wonderful stay at RustRidge B&B. If you want to get away from the crowds and experience a relaxed and secluded stay with beautiful scenery, this is your place. As other reviewers mentioned, this B&B is 20 minutes from the shops and restaurants of St Helena, but that is part of the charm. It is a...

The ranch is a really nice place to stay. Despite the rain while we were there, we managed to do a tour of the winery and have a walk with the dogs. Jim & Susan are great hosts, everything was ready on our arrival. The breakfast is delicious and big: cereals, fruits, yogurts, bacon, eggs... no need for a lunch...

I just read most of the reviews. The RustRidge B&B and Winery is the greatest place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds, in a perfect country setting and in a working ranch. It is certainly not close to shops ,restaurants and traffic , fortunately, but St. Helena is less than 20 minutes away and has...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
RustRidge is a wonderful retreat from the bustling Napa Valley. Located midway up the valley and due east in the hills above the valley, RustRidge is a large working ranch and winery, and is secluded, peaceful and natural.
