The location can't be any better, walking distance to everything and stumble distance back. Great parking area on the property. The number of great wineries in the vicinity is incredible. Just make sure you reserve way in advance, we reserved 4 wineries per day. This gave us some room to add some interesting drive bye's.

I loved the "stumble back distance" remark in your review. I would much rather see you stumble back than drive back...It was a fun time had by all and nobody got hurt...I have only been here a short time but I absolutely adore the folks who come stay here. Oh I know I do a little mother hen stuff when...

Spent 3 nights here and just not up to par. Staff are very helpful, but for a B&B they're not on site so if you need something after hours you're out of luck. Bed is comfortable but room and bath tired and need some work. Lukewarm shower not the way you want to start your day! Breakfast is very nice,...

I read your review and I want you to know we take these very seriously. We are in the process of making some updates and hopefully eliminating the issues you mentioned. The hot water has been addressed. I am the new Innkeeper and I am living on the property so someone is now here round the clock. I have also...

Inn St. Helena was definitely a great new B&B find for us last April! We try to go to Napa Valley once a year and mostly stay in B&B's. We stayed in the "Bamboo" room in the Cottage House and loved it! The room was very spacious, had a very comfortable bed and the attached bathroom had an amazing walk...

The Bamboo room is a great room and you are right after a day of wine tasting that steam shower will bring you back to life in a hurry. I am one who loves spicy food and it is hard to reign me in on the spices. I do however have to appeal to all of our guests so I...

Great location. Lovely Room, a little hot and could not control the temperature of the room (upstairs). No air conditioning. Fortunately, our visit was end of September and at night could open the windows and it had a good ceiling fan. Also, the property next door was under construction and started banging and making noise early. Could walk to downtown...

Thank you for your review. Being an older house the heating and cooling is always a challenge. We have been working on this issue this winter and it hopefully will be much more accommodating very soon. During your visit I had just taken over the cooking and I have to admit it was quite a challenge at first. Now that...

Came to St Helena on our first trip to The Napa reagion. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip here

We stayed in the cottage Bamboo-5 room. Very large, very comfy bed, very clean room & bathroom. The steam shower is so neat! The kitchen and common areas are convenient (and also very clean!) Madeline set up two coffee makers so we could do our own before the 9AM breakfast. The breakfast was really good, and BIG! Sets you up...

Thank you so much for your review. I want everyone to feel welcome and to be included as much or a little as they want. Our wine and cheese parties allow everyone an opportunity to mix and mingle. The kind words you said about me are greatly appreciated. Please do come back and stay with us again. I look forward...

When we traveled to the B and B I think we were all expecting something fabulous because of the cost. All of us have traveled quite a bit and the places we have stayed in have been very nice. We were all surprised that the carpeting and furniture were not in great shape. We were told that there had been...

Overall we liked the property. The rooms were nice and it was a perfect location to see all of the wineries. We opted out of any guest services as my family booked the whole Inn and did our own cooking. The only thing we felt that detracted badly from the beauty of the property was that all of the carpeting...

I have great news...we had originally planned on replacing the carpet in December, however , I found beautiful hardwoods under the carpet and we are going to have them stained and sealed. This will make the whole parlor look amazing. It has been quite a challenge working with the carpet. So please check out our face book page in a...

The location is ideal, the property and service less so. The bed was lovely, the room itself not very impressive. There was an afternoon Happy Hour, but snack items ran out almost immediately--long before all guests had an opportunity to partake. Breakfast was borderline inedible, and the attendant made no effort to refill long-empty coffee pots.

I am so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I would like to know which breakfast you had so if any changes need to be made we can step it up. The Happy Hours are a challenge. I usually try to get a head count on who will be back at 5:00 so I can plan accordingly. This is...

Great location, wonderful hospitality! We stayed in the loft studio apartment at the back of the cottage house and it was absolutely perfect! Super-comfy bed, washer/dryer combo and a fully stocked kitchen, not to mention a steam-shower, which both my husband and I enjoyed. We had such a wonderful stay. When we first arrived, we were taken to the apartment...

Sometimes it is just the little things that make the difference. I enjoy that first impression and strive hard to make each guest feel special. Just like I would treat my own family. Your sweet words made my heart smile. It is a good day when my "Little Chickens" are happy, safe and warm...I hope every quest who stays here...
