This is a very quaint hotel that is tucked away. The kids loved that each room had a different letter of the alphabet with it. We had a room with 2 queens. It was a standard size hotel room. The room was tastefully decorated. My only complaint was the bathroom needs more hooks or a towel bar. The first room...

I would stay here again. My only two complaints was that the pool wasn't heated and the front desk staff took a photocopy of my credit card and kept it in an non secure location (basically they are not compliant with PCI rules). The property is clean, cute, and has an upscale atmosphere, the only thing that doesn't fit the...

Super cute Botique Hotel! A very vintage feel, like one of those cool places you typically find in Palm Springs. Great amenities, very clean rooms and grounds. Private entry, cameras, ect.! Very nice to feel safe. Hotel personnel very nice and personable. Great little gem! Glad we found this and will return.

My daughter had a class to take at a big hotel a few miles away. We wanted to stay somewhere smaller that had a little more personality. When we saw the photos of the Greens Hotel, we fell in love with the retro Mid Century style. It was clean and nice and the people that work there were really friendly....

I loved this hotel, such a nice hotel room. The shower is nice and the beds are very comfortable. Parking is locked up behind a gate. Neighborhood is ok but seems like it's an up and coming neighborhood. Came in late and service desk opened the door instead of making us talk through a window. Very nice staff

I was travelling alone (all the way from Glasgow for a festival) and was made to feel so welcome and the whole check in process was so easy and friendly. I would make a point of staying here again should I find myself in Sacremento! The room was so nice, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was enormous! All very...

This hotel way exceeded my expectations. I needed a place to stay for a few nights while in town for work and a colleague recommended it to me. Clean comfortable rooms, very pleasant staff, and the fact that you are gated in ensures you're car and belongings are safe, which you don't have with many hotels. Will def stay here...

Cute and Unique 'motel' because the doors are exterior. We felt VERY safe although the neighborhood is 'less than desirable'. This is not a Hilton, but our room was clean and fun- just what we needed and we hit the pool because it was hot. The room did not have an iron but we got one from the lobby. We...

We stayed only 1 night (room X) but were very impressed. We love Palm Springs, and once inside the gates I felt like we were back there! The room was very clean, Kelsey was very nice and accommodating...it was exactly what we expected. Next time we hope to enjoy the pool.

We stayed at The Greens for two nights while visiting family in Sacramento. It was a very attractive and affordable spot in a "transitional" neighborhood. The staff was awesome and cheerfully provided a few extras we requested (hair dryer, luggage stand, floor lamp). Our little dog loved the three resident cats, too! If you are looking for something out of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Greens Hotel has re-opened on November 7, 2014! We have worked very hard to make sure that our accommodations, landscape and public areas are comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We have added a Keurig to every room, the nicest bathroom amenities available to us, luxurious mattress pads, and comfortable bedding to make your stay memorable. The Greens Hotel is the centerpiece of an authentic little Sacramento neighborhood where mid-century suburbia shares the sidewalks with the best of today's design, art, fashion and dining. Twenty-six rooms named A through Z and one suite frame a casual commons, best for a breezy summer nights gathering around the pool or in one of our private and intimate courtyards. ... more   less
