We stayed there for 4 nights. The rooms are nicely redecorated and rather spacious. The staff is friendly. The hotel is situated in a beautiful park. Although they organize taxi services and activities in the area, you do need a car though to get around. The restaurant in the cellar serves great food and is usually packed. The hotel is...

I'm a regular and enjoy the place especially when the terrace is open. There is a bar and restaurant in the cellars (watch your head). Food is good, service friendly. No problem if you just jump in for some drinks.

Beautiful hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Drinks on the terrace in the sunshine takes some beating. You do need a car though as nothing to do locally or any alternatives for eating. Easy drive in to Brussels.

This review only covers the restaurant. We did not stay in the hotel. Whether eating outside or in the downstairs brasserie, you will get good service and excellent food at reasonable prices. The lunch menu is particularly good value. Rack of ribs and steaks particularly recommended off the evening menu. Good selection of beers and wines.

This is an ideal place to spend a quiet moment. Ideal location: not far from Brussels with nice surroundings. They serve a delicious international breakfast with fresh products! Possibility to eat outside.

We stayed in Kasteel Gravenhof the first night after flying to Europe from the States. We were exhausted and the accommodations were comfortable and beautiful. My son was thrilled to have the "turret" room upstairs. The automatic light on the stairs made me feel better about him stumbling around if he woke up. They treated us very well and the...

Outside the hotel looks like a castle, inside like a museum. There's a nice playground outside for the kids and the castle is surrounded by a huge garden area which gives you that countryside feeling. The rooms are cozy and not overly spacious but have everything you need and are luxurious. The restaurant serves good food and good quantities.

I have been staying at this castle hotel for the first time and it was a real delight. Very nice restoured old castle like building with luxureous room. Further more the breakfast was very high standard, fresh bread, coffee, scrambled eggs and juices. I think for this price a real recommender if you need to stay in this area.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Gravenhof castle, built for Baron Le Roy in 1649, has provided accommodations to the most elite for more than 200 years. Formerly, the castle was surrounded on all sides by water and access was via the drawbridge. In the 19th century, the four cornertowers were added. The Gravenhof castle maintained its original beauty and magnificence thanks to a dedicated restorative process. Now, the castle is an upscale hotel, restaurant and business-centre.
