Nice little place just blocks from the beach. Room was small but more than adequate. Room included TV, microwave, free wifi, coffee maker and coffee, a closet, and a small refrigerator/freezer. If you are looking for a five star resort, this isn't it, but I've...More
The inn is located a few blocks away from the beach so you can leave all your belongings in your room and walk. There are lots of restaurants around including an excellent Thai restaurant in the very building. The hotel is conveniently located, not far...More

Rooms are small but nicely updated. Quite and convenient area. Bath amenities are cheap and minimal. No closet in the room. Room was very clean! Would be nice and normal to have a hair dryer, clothes iron and ironing board. Staff was very nice and...More
Room was kinda small but it had everything we needed. Bathroom, TV, wifi, AC, microwave and mini fridge. Pretty clean and quiet. Parking and wifi included. Friendly staff. Wish there were more pillows on the bed and also wish the pillows were more firm.

Oh my! I love public transportation (and use it evrywhere including in my home city because I don’t own a car) but I totally overlooked it in LA. Distances are huge. I opted for car rental (moreover, it wasn’t expensive). It took me 35 minutes to drive from LAX to the hotel on a weekday at noon. I guess the bus would have needed almost an hour to cover the same distance. Unlees you don’t plan to visit anything and only plan to go to the beach, the bus will be fine. But otherwise, everything would be out of reach without a car in a non-hour-consumimg way.
