You can hear everything, giggles, sneezing, walking etc. Staff was nice and accommodating. My daughter had a room as well and it seemed to have been updated so it was a little nicer. Not a bad stay, close to beach etc. A great walking experience!...More
We stayed for just 1 night on the way back from Fiji to UK, as it was fairly near the airport. We used public transport from the airport. The bus stop was just past the motel, but with so many stops and LA traffic it...More
I really enjoyed my stay here. The decor is warm and comfortable. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The managers were very nice and helpful. I would recommend it because it is clean and cozy, near the beach and good places to eat.
I've stayed at cheap places before so was a little unsure of what we would find. Checking in was easy. The room was very clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and of a good size. There were lace curtains across the window...More
Good simple hotel not far from the ocean, walking distance, 10 min from the beach.
The place is clean, the staff is friendly the price is right.
No breakfast included but good cafe bout far.
I would recommend it.

Oh my! I love public transportation (and use it evrywhere including in my home city because I don’t own a car) but I totally overlooked it in LA. Distances are huge. I opted for car rental (moreover, it wasn’t expensive). It took me 35 minutes to drive from LAX to the hotel on a weekday at noon. I guess the bus would have needed almost an hour to cover the same distance. Unlees you don’t plan to visit anything and only plan to go to the beach, the bus will be fine. But otherwise, everything would be out of reach without a car in a non-hour-consumimg way.
