Short version: My gf was injured eating a filet mignon and they have not done anything to compensate for the fact that the hotel ruined our stay. They have made many false statements, not gotten back to me and harrassed my gf. more details: My gf and I were here a few weeks ago. On our first night after a 3 hour drive to get the resort we were exhausted and ordered room service. After only a few bites my gf bit into her steak and was hurt badly. I called the hotel front desk to get help and they came immediately to come see the issue. The staff member Chris, apologized profusely and inspected the wound in my girlfriends mouth. It was a deep indent on her gums. He went to the store to get medicine and reduced the pain but she was in discomfort for the rest of the weekend and obviously it tremendously impaired the stay. Chris and his response was the only good thing about this experience. He defintely cared. They had us fill out forms with the claims department which was a total waste of time. The people here are unethical and honestly you should not go here.

Wrapping up a one night stay on the way to the RC in Laguna Niguel. Pretty hotel with great views of the valley, occupancy was high so regardless of ambassador status you were just trying to find a room that was available upon an early check-in Which is super frustrating for 120 nights a year. Some of the grounds could use a little TLC but understood during the post Covid and ability to hire people. Same goes for the steakhouse which is still closed. Club level also closed till mid November although Laguna and Marina del Rey I’ve been open for months. First time here, don’t know I would pay $1,100 a night for this (we booked on points), but if you are going to be sure to get a fire pit room if you actually enjoy the outdoors. Staff overall is super friendly and the restaurant experience was very good.

Came here for second time through American Express Centurion. Gina was smart to ask if we can get an upgrade which we received a large suite with 2 bathrooms. All the employees treat you the way you should at a hotel like this. The grounds are immaculate. Nice pool area and spa. You have a great hiking trail right outside the hotel to hike before breakfast. Centurion members get a $70 daily breakfast which is easy to use up at the State Fare. Food was excellent both days. Valet was excellent. You are in a very nice area of Rancho Mirage with commanding views. 20 minutes gets you to excellent restaurants in Palm Springs. Overall excellent 2 night stay.

Mediocre stay over the weekend. Valet/check-in great. No upgrades, breakfast or club entry for my platinum elite status. Hallways dim and carpet dated. Room overall adequate but lacking in size and again old carpet/furniture. Food above average. Pool staff very good. For the hotel to charge these prices there needs to be significant renovations to bring me back.

Unfortunately, we,2 couples, stayed only one night. Late checkout with marriott bonvoy american express platinum credit card allowed room upgraade with firepit near the pool and checkout at 4pm. Location on a hill overlooking the city. Covid safety precautions are good here. Stay requires vaccination card or equivalent. sanitation wipes at counter. Checkin staff were outstanding. "Candy Bar" at checkin with tootsie rolls, smarties, hersey minis starburst.Checkin told us Edge steakhouse was not yet reopened but State Fare restaurant has an Edge Steakhouse menu which was excellent. Chad, our waiter, and his able server (I think her name is Nancy from Cambodia) and Ricardo , his asssistant provided outstanding service, warm and personable. Guided hike with Rene on chuckawalla trail at 7 am, then golf at Marrriott Willow Creek finished at the hotel pool. Vini,5* pool attendant , brought us drinks and snacks.Andrew set up our chaise with towels and brought us suntan lotion. Nachos and cut fruit in a steamer basket, cold water and margaritas. Cabanas are extra at $300. Amber , the concierge got us reservations at 4 Saints with nice sunset view. The sevice by all the people I mentioned, sorry if I did not write your name , was outstanding. they have an exercise program with yoga, pilates , and other stuff. next time. Before dinner we went to Pete Carroll Golf and Tennis where the wives got some deals. 4 Saints great food great ambience, great view, Check out Marilyn Monroe statue after dinner One of best things about this trip: packed so no time for ladies to hit Cabezon
