This review is a bit delayed as we stayed at Ferrando's a couple months ago. Our experience with Doris and Greg's lodgings was so crucial to our enjoyment of our vacation that I have felt like I owed it to Ferrando's to write this review. First, we did not like San Francisco. Which was a huge surprise. By all accounts,...

I spent a full month researching places to stay in the northern California area for an anniversary celebration trip. I read through reviews like this one and contacted many of the places to get a feel for them. Ferrando's looked great, but the price was on the high side of our budget, so it was with some trepidation that I...

We stayed in the bungalow and it is very lovely. It is equipped with everything you might need, including a large hot tub on the private terrace. Doris bakes wonderful goodies and delivers them each morning along with OJ and fresh eggs. We had an extra special treat because a hummingbird had built a nest in the ivy cover over...

We have been returning to Ferrando's Hideaway each year for many years including a previous property of theirs. It is an ideal retreat for all who desire to be in nature, hike or bike the trails, enjoy the beaches, observe the wildlife, explore the town's shops and galleries and savor the bakeries and restaurants...and then return to enchanting, clean and well-kept,comfortable and cozy cabins...

This was our first time staying in the Alberti Cottage at Ferrando's Hideaway. Our previous visits have always been in the bungalow (which is awesome too). Doris and Greg do a wonderful job of creating a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The place is always clean, the baked goods in the morning are always really really good, and Point Reyes...

My girlfriend and I spent two wonderful days and nights at Ferrando's Hideaway Cottages. The Alberti Cottage was just so warm and welcoming we didn't want to leave. Doris and Greg are great and gracious hosts who make sure your every need is taken care of. The fresh-baked morning Blueberry Muffins and Orange Juice were a real treat to wake...

We chose Alberti Cottage for a getaway week-end based on the universally positive reviews on Trip Advisor, and it still exceeded our expectations. The cottage and grounds are perfect - quiet, aethetically pleasing and completely in harmony with the surroundings. We live close by so we were more interested in a private peaceful space to spend time together than exploring...

My husband and I stayed in the Alberti Bungalow for 4 nights. We were looking for a pleasant place to relax, somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Ferrando's Hideaway Cottages are on a very quiet road, which was a big plus for us. Doris and Greg were great hosts; congenial and helpful with ideas about hikes...

My husband, I and two adult daughters spent a wonderful relaxing week with Doris and Greg as most gracious and accommodating hosts. We stayed in the one bedroom cottage with a living room with a futon and a full size kitchen with everything needed for cooking. We bought fresh fish and vegetables at the local grocery and cooked out every...

I have never stayed somewhere that felt so much like a home. My husband and I hiked 7+ miles each day, and when we returned, we felt like we could just relax, almost like we lived there. Everything was so private ... and the stars ... wow! The breakfasts were so amazing, just like everyone has mentioned, and we appreciated...
